I wouldn't discount that train of thought.  In the video Emily said that this Vader was the first all-new effort on Darth Vader that they had done in 10+ years.  Previous releases, like the ROGUE ONE Vader, were based on previous sculpts.  When Hasbro made that 500th edition Darth Vader they kept on cranking out Vader releases based on that figure for years to follow.

Honestly if they just want to tweak it and give us the different versions we need (inner robes over the armor for ANH, whatever changes needed for ESB, ROTJ, removable helmet, etc) I'd buy them in a heartbeat. This is a great scenario, where they've created a perfect template and now they can iterate on it.

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Wandering Jedi) has been sighted at a Target store in Indiana.  I'm shocked that this is happening.

Found a whole case of this wave at Target on my way home from work today.  I was utter shocked at finding these in an actual retail store.  Feels like forever since I actually found something in a store when I still needed it.

Target seems to be the only US retailer that's gotten these so far.  It makes me wonder if Walmart or online retail are far behind?

Yeah, my Target that I ran by just now had 0 TVC on the pegs.  The only 3.75" figure they had was the Droids R2 and just one of him.  Otherwise, there was some 6" figures, lots of the carbonized ones, but there were lots of empty pegs (which all seemed to be designated for Black Series, 0 TVC pegs).

3 out of the 4 Targets I've been into recently had new figures, but it was the Deathwatch / Ahsoka / 501st Clone / Shand wave.

Amazon is already shipping figures from this wave.  I placed orders for Reva and Obi-Wan yesterday, and they're supposed to arrive on Friday.

Just got my Obi-Wan Kenobi from Amazon.  Maybe its just the way he is posed in the bubble, but my Obi-Wan looks like he has a beer belly.

Maybe Ol' Ben was really hitting that fermented bantha milk hard to deal with his sorrows.

That joint is really wonky. It's easily the worst part about the figure. The rest thought is great. I LOVE the little LOLA Droid. (It really makes me want a Cal Kestis with a little BD-8) I got my Kenobi, Anakin, Reva, & Mandos from Amazon this week still no Vader yet, and Amazon still has him listed with a ship date of November 3rd, 2022... Hopefully that changes soon.

Got half a dozen Mandos, Anakin, and Obi-Wan from this wave on Saturday.  Is it weird that wave 04 hasn't hit yet?
