Title: Bachelor Parties
Post by: Scott on October 24, 2003, 02:44 PM
I have my Brother's bachelor party tomorrow, I'm in charge since I am the best man.  We are renting a school bus for some serious bar hopping action here in the Minneapolis Area.  Nobody has to drive which makes for an all around great time

I've been to a couple of doozys in my day though...anyone have any PG-13 experiences they would like to share :-*

Funny you should mention this.  I just had my bachelor party last weekend.  The week before was my best friend's bachelor party.  But nothing really outrageous went on.  The friends took me out to this Texas restaurant for supper.  The staff embarrassed me.  I had to sit on this saddle and yell junk like "HEEE-HAAAW!!!"  Then they gave me a stick-horse and I had to ride that like a cowboy and run around the restaurant yelling cowboy lingo.  It was pretty funny.  Odd but hilarious.

We went to a semi-pro hockey game afterwards.  Of course that was fun.  Afterwards we went bar hopping.  Took a trip into the famous strip bar.  Thankfully I was not beaten on stage their.  I had a few special dances with the ladies.  They were having a fun time embarrassing me there.

The next day I could tell I had fun.  Nothing too bad went down though.  I had a nice buzz the entire night.

Unfortuneately no PG13 Scott.  Like my wife once said to me:  "Your mind is in the gutter, but your heart is in the right place" ;D

I just got from a bachelor's party in Vegas last weekend, and went to another one in Vegas about 6 weeks before that.  Had mine in Vegas about 2.5 years ago as well!   8)

...anyone have any PG-13 experiences they would like to share :-*

Uh...  No.

(no hookers/prostitutes though...   :P)

Actually, one of the bartender chicks at the Coyote Ugly bar in the New York, New York hotel picked me out of the whole crowd there to come up to the stage and have some free shots.  The catch was that I had to ride one of those silly little sticks with a pony head on the end of it around the bar while all the women slapped my ass...   :-\

Of course I did it though!   ;D   Unfortunately my stupid friends were all laughing so hard that they forgot to take a picture of my 'moment in the spotlight', otherwise I'd probably share it with you...  All the women had to do there for free drinks was dance up on the bar.  Yeah, that's fair...   ::)

That was probably the last point of the night we were still within the PG-13 rating though...   :-*

Wow!  The pony head on a stick must be a popular thing nowadays.  Or I just never knew about it.  Luckily I had a couple of drinks before I had to do that at the restaurant.  Sadly no girls slapped my rear though :(  It must not be that attractive of an arse.

Last party I was at...

The night started with our table at the first bar winding up on fire (We were doing flaming Dr. Pepper's)...

The night ended with me waking up the next day in the tub with my pants on, a fleece blanket I'd never seen before, and no shirt, and with the water running.

I remember the in-betweens but I can safely say they're not PG-13.

And my buddy Dan's last B. Party he went to was NC-17 at best...  I mean, it was everything you'd ever heard and then they tacked a few things to push it even further.  Needless to say we kept the name of that place for Dan's B. Party when it comes around...  He insisited.

I've been to exactly one bachelor party, at a hotel. His dad hired a stripper, but she was uninspired and demanding, so we kicked her ass out after half an hour. Then we headed for the bars and that's when the fun began. It gets blurry from there, but there was a wet t-shirt contest, and those words don't exactly require a lot of explanation.

So, how many of you are married?  I've been married for 2-1/2 years now, and am happy.  My bachelor party kinda sucked however, as we had a bus that broke down.   :'(  Still got plenty drunk though... what a crazy night.   :)

Last summer, one of my best friends got married - we went down to Memphis for his bachelor party on the legendary Beale Street - so much damn fun!

Mine was pretty subdued.  BTW, my 12th anniversary is on Super Bowl Sunday.  Should be back from dinner in time for the game :P

We just went to a small bar that had a pretty good one man guitar show.  The guy was talented, we knew the bartenders and we got pretty drunk.  A rep from Molson came in, saw our table covered with Black Label and was impressed - Winnipeg is neither a Molson nor a Black Label buying city.  To the point where this guy informed us that he had bad news.  The were discontinuing Black Label in Manitoba.  He proceeded to buy us the rest of the Black Label the bar had, so needless to say we were pretty happy.

Next day we went out to get a suit for one of the guys in the wedding party - yes, the day of the wedding (no, no tuxes).  While we were there we were talking to the sales dude and told him that we were off to a wedding.  Clearly the effects of the night before were fairly evident because the guy said Man, I hope the groom doesn't look as ****** as you guys do.  At that point I raised my hand and said that would be me.  He was fairly embarassed by that for some reason and gave us discount cards for 25% off our next purchase.  We still laugh at that because the guy was right, we looked like **** and I was pretty much pale up to and through the entire wedding service.

First of all, I'm going to hit the manual returns in to fix the formatting
problem that giant picture created. :-)

I have a small issue with bachelor parties.

Traditionally, it was your last night of freedom, but these days...most
guys (like me) have been in a long term, committed relationship
long before they get married.  You're not "free" when you have the
party, so you are not going to (or shouldn't be) doing anything that
you wouldn't do any other night of the week.

So other than an excuse to hang out with the guys, I dont see the big deal.

On the flip side, I may be in Vegas for mine, so if I do have one, I guess it could
be pretty good.  ;D

 :P

Hey, one of the last few faceless members here bites the dust!  Nice to finally "meet" you Justin!   ;)

As for Josh's comments, yeah, I pretty much agree.  I don't think anyone's fiancee is going to look at your
bachelor party as one last chance to be free, and have a meaningless fling with some plastic titted stripper.
I certainly wouldn't want my future wife fooling around with some dude right before we got married,
that's for sure.  In fact, if she did that, there probably wouldn't be a wedding.  I assume most ladies would
probably have the same mindset.  I guess it just comes down to the ol' "look, but don't touch" theory.

I went to Vegas for my bachelor's party, and had an absolute blast.  We hit the strip clubs a couple times,
but the best part was just getting to hang out with my closest buddies for several days, drinking, gambling,
reminiscing, etc.  That's where it's really at.  You can go to a nudie bar anytime, any place, pretty much.  But
getting all your buddies together at once, especially when everyone's moved on from college to different places,
is priceless.  Male bonding.  Getting stupid all together once more.  Fun times.   8)

Wow - sorry that pic came out so big!  I have no idea why it did that...

BTW, the old fat guy is the owner of Silky O Sullivan's one of the coolest bars I've ever seen.  He just sits out on the street and gets drunk...

I agree, bachelor parties are all about hanging out with your best friends, not trying to get some.

Damn! That's a wookiee-sized drink you've got there, CHEWIE!!!  ;D

Bachelor parties are fun for the sake of hanging out and being absolutely crazy with your buddies. With my friends, the bacelor basically gets ripped on the whole night. One of my buddies had a rock chained to his ankle for the night. Another was whipped by strippers (while we laughed and pointed), and yet another was thrown into a "wrestling ring" with a couple strippers (while we laughed and pointed) and spanked by a midget (which was just plain wierd, but we still laughed...and pointed).

Sure, strip clubs are fun the first couple times you go. But what makes a bachelor party a great time is the insane times you get to have with your friends that you really don't get to do every other day of the week. Its better to have something fun to remember than just "we sat around and watched strippers".

Heh heh, I got whipped on my bachelor party... damn stripper ripped off my boxers (thought it was gonna cut my nuts off), took off my belt and hit my back with it.  Actually had a spot that bled a little bit.  I was too drunk though to care.  Don't tell the wife!   :D

Oh,  that's the other thing that bugs me about these.

You have your entire married life to be humiliated and whipped, why spend
your last night of "Freedom" being abused by your friends and some skank?

I've never understood the tradition of torturing the groom to be. Just don't get it.

I had the typical party via local dance establishment.  We were fortuneate enough to have Christy Canyon (porn star, cough, cough) in our private room for a bit.  Wowza.  Unfortuneately I had been in such a long term relationship with my current wife that I knew not to take any thing too far.  But that didnt stop any of my other idiot friends to put dents in their marriages.
Title: Re: Bachelor Parties
Post by: Jesse James on February 3, 2005, 08:36 PM
Hmmm, it's been a while...  I was supposed to go to one this year (near fall) but just in
the last couple weeks my buddy known as "Shemp" broke up with his woman
who had a gambling addiction (seriously) to Bingo.  I **** you not on this.

He's better off I say.

Anyway, that one was gonna be good because his best man already had a whole strip club in the city
reserved for us, and that woulda been nice.  Oh well.

The last one I was at then was a couple years ago for my buddy Matt.

In general we have a pattern for parties and they're pretty well simplified.  We go to a
bar/restaurant or restaurant to eat, most often Hooters.  Then we go to a bar to drink unless
where we were at is a bar as well and we wanna hang there.  If it's Hooters, we go to a bar then
afterward so we can do shots and stuff.  Get all liquored up.  Then we usually go to a strip club unless
that's a faux pau as far as the bride-to-be is concerned (not my choice I suppose, otherwise I'd force
the bachelor to go).

Club Erotica in Pittsburgh's our usual stop there, and we spend the rest of the evening there...  One time
till it closed around 4 a.m. which was a blast.

Now, I've been to other set-ups...  That's just my small group's "template" bachelor party we've used for friends
over the years...  Some of our friends have no guts though and "weren't allowed" to go to a strip club so we
instead went out to bars/clubs in the city, and eventually get someone at one of those places to take a shirt off
or something.  Gotta have boobie somewhere.

But at another party I was at for someone I sorta knew through my friend, they had rented the top of a club
in the city, and they'd gotten a private show with two girls.  Best bachelor party ever, and what all went on
goes beyond what I can say here even with our more mellow rules. :)  It was a fun show though.

After one Bachelor Party I woke up in my tub with the shower running, and I was short my shirt from the night
before but I had a nice fleece blanket from somewhere.  That was a fun night.

I went to one of my best friend's cousin's bachelor party a couple years ago in Vegas.  Three words: OUT OF CONTROL.  Bagged a HOT stripper that nite too (and she was all over me all nite so it was free!  She gave me her number too and told me to call her whenever I was in town.)   ;)  Great nite for me.

Ah, my bachelor party.  'Twas a great nite, from what I can remember.  My wife's
uncle set up my party at the Eagles Club in town, just a lounge basically.  But I was
really surprised by how many of my male relatives made it to the party, and a bunch
of buddies came into town a day early.  We basically just played pool and shot the
**** - a great chance to reminisce about some of the stupid **** we've done over the
years.   :)

I started with rye and coke, my poison of choice.  Then I did something much
more stupid, I moved to shooters - bad idea.  I don't remember much of the nite
after that, except needing to get some fresh air before I got in the cab to go home.
My ability to walk was slightly impaired, so my father-in-law had to hold my hand as
we crossed the many streets - he still gets much joy in this fact and rubs in as often
as possible.  :-[  :D

Actually, there ARE pictures, but a sober reflection of it doesn't urge me to request for copies of them.  (nothing serious- just a little tongue action - and nothing below the neck... that there are pictures of)
5 tongues
Around 30 different butt grabs (I was handing out Mardi Gras beads, and guy's chests weren't good enough), some butts got multiple grabs.
2 kisses- this became a major drama later when the 2nd one found out about the first and got all upset and went telling to the other.   ::)
2 wonderful peach schnapps long island iced teas.

Yeah, it sounds a LOT worse than it was, but I think you'd have to be there to understand.   With the burlesque show, the bellydancers, everyone's hormones were kind of in full gear.
I'm going to try not to kiss two guys the same night though from now on... The rest, well... I'm a flirt- a little bit...

Well, Chewie, the SW fan universe is sometimes smaller than you'd think.  As some of involved are known in the "community" , I'm not going to post a link to the photos.  While I don't mind y'all knowing my bad behaviour, I certainly don't want to upset any others as anyone who knows me enough could probably investigate and figure out exactly who it is that I had fun with (this is not an invite to do so).

Well, it wouldn't have to take a genius to figure it out, but if anyone has any questions or concerns I'd rather it get handled in PM.  Matt and Scott are one thing because they are playing, but there has already been major drama in this whole mess after just that weekend.  If things had been cool then I'd link, but like I said, I know some of you guys know some of those guys- or at least know of them.

We need a movie...Julia Roberts for Princess, and I'm thinking...Antonio Benderaz for the Mystery man. The mystery of it all. JediMac will be played by an an animated pink sweater, and I'll play myself because I've had expericen in the feild. Morgbug will make a cameo, played by Gilbert Godfree or however he spells his name.

Oh, I'm excited now.

Ya' know, I think we should try to turn this derailment into a positive here, and use some of the ideas in this thread to maybe organize a JD bachelor party for Indy, just for the hell of it.  Nobody has to get married or anything, but we could hire some strippers (mostly female, but maybe one dude for the ladies - in a different room, of course), get some kegs, alcohol, get freaky deaky nasty, etc.

That sound good to everyone?  LMK, and I'll start doing the research, and book some "acts" for the festivities...   8)

That place is the mecca for bachelorette parties, and some of them have been quite nice to watch! Last time we went was TN Daniel's b-day, and we actually had a chair-hopping race with Rachel the John Deere chick that ended with Daniel getting his boxers cut to pieces and ripped off of him on top of the bar.

Luckily I have photo proof on my phone.

I do still have the pics, and I bet us posting them on here would be the straw that finally breaks the rednecks back and forces him to start posting on the boards.  Of course I'm stuck in Oregon again right now with only roaming cell service, but once I get back I'll email them and we'll slap them all over the 'net!

Bastard will learn to post online yet!

Daniel's nothing worth getting excited over, Shannon.  He's the one with the confused look on his face in that SDCC Hooters pic.  Plus, he's from Tennessee.  Poor fella...   :-\

Plus he's not nearly as hot as that other guy from Tennessee.

Damn he's a looker  :o

Not sure what the hell you're talking about there, since everyone else in that shot was from SoCal, dork.

Or did you mean the guy from Newport Beach was hot?  In which case, I'd say, no doubt.  Duh.

Too bad you weren't planing it here near Albany, because I know the owner of the good stripper rental service, thanks to my celebrity.

I'm going to Indy and I am getting married this year, so perhaps I can attend this little shindig and pretend it has something to do with me.  ;D

Yeah, that might work Josh.  But you guys are gonna have to organize it yourself now, 'cause I'm throwing a bachelorette party instead.   ;)

So when's the big date for you two?!  I'm not even sure I recall you finally popping the question, so a belated Congrats on that one!   8)

Yeah. I carried that ring around on vacation last year (through two different airport security screenings) waiting for that perfect moment and ended up proposing back in Seattle last August.  ;D

We'll be getting married this October, so there's still a considerable amount of time to go.

I guess I shouldn't find it so strange that it's always the married guys encouraging me with lines like "Don't Do it!", but I always do.  Is marriage REALLY that bad?   ;D

I know it's fun to live vicariously through those single friends of ours (even us "dating" guys occasionally have that feeling) but I really can't imagine being single being a better alternative to what I've got right now (and what marriage brings).  I've dated enough in my life to know that it doesn't get much better than this......and at that point, isn't that when you're supposed to get married?  :)

Shannon, you could always blur out the faces of other people in the picture, like they do on "Cops" and stuff... Just a thought.

My buddies and I have a rule for bachelor parties...no cameras allowed. I'd recommend the same rule for your friends, Princess.  ;)

My buddies actually stashed a video camera at one Bachelor Party, and had the thing rolling through all the "good stuff".  But then, at the end of the night, one of my other (drunk) buddies took the tape out of the VCR (after we'd watched it), and tore it to shreds 'cause he didn't want the groom-to-be to have any incriminating evidence floating around that could potentially get him into trouble.

You should have heard all the guys screaming in terror as this guy starting yanking all the tape out of the cartridge and thrashing it.  For shame...   :'(

I'm actually going to a bachelor party on April 2nd... I was hoping to be able to enjoy my new ROTS toys - but looks like I'll have to wait a day.

No picture is an especially good idea for the truly "wild" bachelor parties... evidence is not always the best thing...
Polaroids if anything.
I worked in a photo lab pre-digital cameras.  I've seen a lot of photos.  Unless you want your wife to see you licking whipped topping off a stripper's various body parts one day do not let anyone take pictures.  One day you may tick off your buddies wife and the next thing you know, out come the photos...  I'm sure it's happened...

:-X   My freinds pictures are stashed away and have been for many years. They had nothing to do with whipped topping, only LifeSavers.  ;D
