Power of the Force 2 / Re:Favorite POTF2 Figure.
« on: November 27, 2002, 01:12 AM »
Choosing 1 is difficult, so I'll go with my standard top 10 favorites...

10. Death Star Droid Freeze Frame
9. Luke or Han in Stormtrooper disguise
8. Ishi Tibb
7. Biggs Darklighter Freeze Frame
6. Luke Bespin w/Removable Hand
5. Darth Vader w/Removable Helmet
4. Death Star Trooper
3. Wuher COMMTech Chip
2. Sandtrooper
1. Chewbacca as Boushh's Bounty Freeze Frame

You really like the Death Star Trooper?  I think the detail is pretty good, but I hate the way it's posing.  You can't tell if he's trying to run away from something or if he's pinching a loaf (look at the stress and pain in his eyes!).

That is absolutely gorgeous work you've done there!  How long did it take you to make something like that?  Great job!

Watto's Junk Yard / Collecting is an Addiction!
« on: November 27, 2002, 12:28 AM »
Isn't collecting Star Wars items an addiction???  It's so bad that I got my wife addicted to it too!  I don't have access to sites like eBay where I work, so during the day my wife checks out what's up for auction on eBay.  If she thinks something is worth while she calls me, and usually I end up buying it!

What an awesome wife I have!

The Wookiee Arcade / Re:My thoughts on (PS2) Bounty Hunter
« on: November 27, 2002, 12:22 AM »
This game rocks!  I don't know why you didn't like the gameplay Brad.  This game sort of reminds me of Starfighter but you're Jango, and not the pilot of a ship.  There is a ton of skill involved in this game... I don't know how you think there's no skill involved with it.  Yes, there is a lot of jumping around, flying with the backpack, but this game is quite difficult (and addicting).

Yes, you do get 5 continues once you die, but those refresh between each chapter so you're not just stuck with 5 for the entire game.  I think that's great!  I like how they've setup check points throughout the chapters, so that you if you do die you don't have to start over at the very beginning of that chapter.

My rating on this game = 9.5/10

PS -- What level/chapter are you up to Brad?  I just finally made it to Malastare.  That Asteroid Prison was a pain in the you-know-what!

Once you get your copy of Clone Campaigns let me know.  I've never hosted a game online, but I've played against others online.  Some people can be total pricks... why do I say that?

Well, one time I was playing for almost 4 hours where there were a total of 8 players (including me).  It was down between myself and the host, and she up-and-quit the game we were playing.  She did that because I was going to win.  I was so ticked off about that, and that was the last time I've played online.

However, I would love to play against others here.  Name the time and hopefully I'll be there!

Collector's Tips / Re:Workers
« on: November 25, 2002, 09:24 PM »
I am a good costumer at a local toy store, and everytime I enter the store I say something to the people, and I always get the SW and LEGO displays :D

That is so awesome!  All the suggestions are great!  I'll have to keep all of those in mind next time I go to the store.  Thanks!

Now all you need is a few Dioramas and your life will be complete !

I do have one diorama setup at the moment, but it's kinda small right now.  I'm planning on moving into a house in the next year or two (I'm in a townhouse right now), and my wife is gonna give me the entire basement to do anything Star Wars related for it.  Yeah baby!  Here's a link to the pic to the simple diorama...

I have Galactic Battlegrounds with Clone Campaigns, and if you ever want to play a match let me know.  It does take quite a long time to play online, so you really have to allow yourself plenty of time to play.  Just an FYI.  It would be fun though.

LEGO / Re:Mini Line-What do you think?
« on: November 24, 2002, 08:49 PM »
I saw some pictures of the mini's on another Star Wars related website, and I didn't really care for them.  But, being a huge Star Wars and LEGO fan, I'm sure I will buy them all.

Are they available for purchase, and if so where?

Saga '02-'04 / Re:Silver R2
« on: November 24, 2002, 08:37 PM »
I have four silver R2-D2's right now.  I have one that is C-9.5, two that are C-8, and one that is about C-6.5 (bubble is dented).  I purchased some figures, Jedi Starfighter ship, Action Fleet vehicles, and the new Slave I.
