Neat seeing the AT-AT humping it's cardboard interior packaging. Gotta wonder about kids who hardly played with them.  :-\ Maybe they were too old.

I disassembled a vintage X-Wing that's wings weren't locking into attack position. Turned out the ring around the R2 head was broken in the front, so I turned it around (it had to be unscrewed to do that). I didn't check the electronics. I still need a canopy for that one and a few others.

I had the Sandcrawler as a young kid and tore the damn door off and lost the steps, probably ruined the motor, too. Loved the thing, though. Much better than a cardstock backdrop, which I can't even remember even though the land of Jawas base and pod survived...ableit with broken foot peg and torn off hatch (what's with those fragile hinges?)

I'll admit Futurama wasn't what it was on FOX. They've still made a few good episodes since, and a few "too currently politically relevant to hold up over time" ones.

On the other hand, as the show goes,  it seems they make Fry stupider, Zoidberg grosser and more pathetic just for gags, it might be time to end it.

I'd keep watching it, anyway. I still watch the Simpsons, which really should've ended 10 years ago, but occassionally shows glimmers of the good old days (the Movie was lame).

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Speculation

No, in Indiana Jones andthe Last Crusade they rode off into the sunset. In ROTJ, they patted each other on the back at the teddy bear picnic.

Besides, they've had 30 years of peace or something.

Okay, okay...while they look neat, note every concept art peice has to become part of the real Star Wars universe. If the show had continued, they'd run into concept art Chewbacca.

Did I see AT-AP's?

I hope this Sifo Dyas mystery arc takes another huge dump on some pseudo-established canon.

I missed this news, but a week or so ago, Futurama got cancelled again, this time by Comedy Central. The creators say they will shop the show around. There's 13 new episodes airing starting June 19 on Comedy Central.

Nothing worthwhile at TRU. I should've taken my reciept back for a price adjustment, but I forgot...and I hate dealing with service people...maybe because I know that all TRU employees despise collectors. They were innocent folks who thought working a toy store would be a fun job, then they discovered US.

Finally got an episode 1 Aurra Sing (i put off because I nitpicked the paint ops too much...OCD) and yet another Tusken Raider. Will the Discover the Force stuff ever run out? Who knows I may just buy Mawhonic eventually.  :P

It looks like Joss Whedon is letting some info slip about Avengers 2, and that a brother & sister from the storied past of the Avengers may be coming to the next installment with Earth's mightiest heroes.

Northstar and Aurora? Awesome.

No, I have a figure and camel set box that was $3, those small sets have steadily gone up to $5 over the past few years.  At one point the Hummers were well under $20, too.

Funny, I mention Big Lots and there's now reports of Class 1 2013 items appearing there for $18.

5 Below seems mostly useless for anything besides cheap action figures, but that's because I'm not their target audience.

I remember when Big Lots had worthwhile stuff, besides the yearly Power Team Elite army toys that increase in price every year.

There's an Ollies an hour's drive away, but I've never gone to it. Haven't heard of them having anything special recently.

That's the thing with Sci-fi movies.  It's hit or miss... awesome or suck.

I wouldn't say that for all of them. However, any movie that relies soley on a twist lives or dies by that.

Another store chain no one knew existed, I used to live in one of the states they have stores in and I don't remember it.

Found Malgus and Imperial Navy Commander at Toys R Us, they must be shipping so much that even the scalpers are getting lax. Had to pay  $10 each, though. No sale this past week...of course, if there had been, I'd never have found them.

IAnd what is the deal with the topography of St. Louis?

Earth has been at least partially terraformed. (Which is strange term in this case, terra means "earth".)

There's a lot of unanswered stuff.

The guy that played Nolan was in some terrible made for SyFy zombie movie set in Reno.

Anyone watch DEFIANCE? Anyone? An actual sci-fi series on SyFy. Not too bad, more ambitious than most of their efforts. Plot seemed a little TERRA NOVA, which was barely watchable.

But person from a red sun solar systen gaining super powers from a yellow sun does?

Mixed feeling about seeing another film that has any alien invasion angle, but I'll go see OBLIVION, I mean Superman: Man of Steel.
