Let the jerking around of the Rebels collectors commence!
ToysRUs Exclusive: Reveal The Rebels: Jedi Reveal Revealed (http://yakfaceforums.com/main/2014/09/03/toysrus-exclusive-reveal-the-rebels-jedi-reveal-revealed/)
Hope the Rebels collectors enjoy spending $20 for the exclusive Hologram Obi-Wan "Secret Figure" since you'll already have the basic Kanan and Ezra by the time it comes out! ;)

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is pretty good incentive to wait to buy those two figures. Not 100% I'm going to get a lot of the rebels dudes but I kind of like the obi wan for some reason.
-
So it's for sure they're the same?
I don't see the point of the "Blind Packaging" if they all come with the same Holographic Obi-Wan figure. Plus they tell you the name of the figure right there on the front of the box. Does he look that bad?

Yes, they are all the same and the packaging doesn't mention Obi-Wan by name I guess it does from a certain point of view.

Yodasnews (http://www.yodasnews.com/tru-exclusive-star-wars-rebel-mission-series-ghost-pack-first-loose-images/) has posted a nice loose shot of the set, including
Holo-Obi-Wan the "Secret Figure".
Does he look that bad?
I think he looks neat... but the packaging calling him a "figure" is a stretch since he looks like a 0-POA mini-statue.

Saw shelf tags today (http://yakfaceforums.com/main/2014/09/11/tru-exclusive-jedi-reveal-release-imminent/). Coming soon I guess.

At least it doesn't say "'action' figure".
-
Nice. I feel like it's been forever that we've been waiting for these things to come out. (Rebels action figures in general)
-
It's for pre-order on the Canada ToysRus site with a release date of 10/17

The back of the box flat-out says in the fine print "Includes: Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, & Obi-Wan Kenobi Secret Exclusive Figure."
Just FYI, from Adam Pawlus this morning...I guess these are hitting stores now.
-
Saw this last night at Toys R Us. I'm still on the fence about collecting animated style figures, so I left it for now.
-
Saw this this afternoon too. I passed for now, but if I do get any Rebels figures I'll snag this set due to the Obi-Wan.
-
It is also available on TRU.com (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=34695526) now.
-
Interesting my TRU made the transformers / gi joe/ Star wars aisle bigger by removing an entire row of shelves between them. They setup a small half high shelves for more Rebels stuff between them. They had lots of Rebels stuff like banks, clocks, stuffed character, 30" figures but no regular figures from the series or ships. The reveal pack was there though. I picked that one up.
-
Our local TRU finally stocked these today (8 total) so I picked up an extra to open since I had a 20% off coupon and the one i ordered from their website arrived crushed. I had to look through every single one to find one with decent paint apps. The biggest trouble spots seem to be Ezra's eyebrows and the visor of the helmet.

I discovered that Ezra has a logo variant (http://yakfaceforums.com/main/2014/11/04/ezra-jacket-logo-variant/) in the Jedi Reveal set.
(http://yakfaceforums.com/main/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/ezra_variant-300x187.jpg) (http://yakfaceforums.com/main/2014/11/04/ezra-jacket-logo-variant/)

Is that one of those variants where you can't even tell what you've got until you open it? I know how much the variant hunters love that... :P

Yep :P
-
Aw, crap. I have to have both. >:(
-
Hmm... If I have this correct, Jayson said his date stamp on the back was 41981, which was the variant. Rebelscum's was 42061, which is the running change. I've got the 42061 but I have yet to open mine out of laziness, need to pop mine open to see what version I have.

I finally found one of these that was not stamped 42061 so I pounced on it, but after I got home I realized it was dated 42481, not 41981. D'oh!
Edit: Happy ending - I ended up peeking and confirmed that I do indeed have one of each now, so I am good to go on this variant. Whew!
-
I hope that at least just a few figures in really this toyline have various points of articulation.
-
So far only 5.
