JJ, I've heard people saying they get Goof-Off in Wal-Mart, but which section?  Crafts?  Hardware?  Homecleaning products?

^^ Do you mean the mini sets where you make an X-Wing from 20 pieces and its an inch long, or do you mean small sets like army builder packs?

Maybe they'll put in one or two of the OT deleted scenes?  Or is that too much to hope for/sacreligious for the OT purists?

The Vintage Collection / Re: TVC will fail...

Just my 2 cents, but during the B-A-D days I bought way more obscure figures than I had ever bought before.  I'm not a completist, I just buy the subset of figures that interest me, but the desire to complete droids got me to buy atleast a dozen or more figures I wouldn't have bought otherwise.  Fast forward to the Vintage Collection and I've bought three figures from the first two waves (19 figures).  I'm not saying that my experience is typical, but for me, I have less interest in buying marginal characters in this line.

Do I need to step on it too?  Or throw it around a bit?  Play fetch with a dog?  Any other stereotypical insults to postal workers I should include?

Store it in Newman's apartment for a few weeks?

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Galactic Heroes Twilight

^^ Love that idea.  My son is a big fan of the GH AT-AT and we've managed to pack all our GH Snowtroopers (I think we have 2), AT-AT drivers (5) and AT-AT Commanders (2) inside; along with the pack-in speeder bike.  Not sure that Twilight would be a huge seller, but I'd buy it!

Great episodes.  I liked the exterior shots of Kamino, particularly the bridges and landing platforms between the buildings.  I really liked 99 and I'm glad he got to do his part for his brothers.

Quick question, who was the 5th member of Domino Squad?  Heavy, Fives, Echo, Cut-up and ____?

I can see the "free" argument, but considering they are paying to ship a relatively light item, using the slowest possible method, you'd think a little more of the $7 could go towards packing...

I don't see why they have to play the victim in that relationship. As the client, they should have ALL the leverage. "Hey, start doing a better job making our toys or we will take our business elsewhere". Enough of this wag the dog stuff.

But they aren't the victim, they are the partner.  They already accomplished what they set out to do; which is to get us (the consumer) to buy the figure.  As loud as collectors complain about these detail things, we aren't the largest portion of Hasbro's sales and we certainly aren't the largest portion of the Saga Legends sales (given what currently in that mix).  Frankly, I don't see a little kid really caring that this battle droid has big eyes, when he's fighting against a Clone Wars Anakin.  So Hasbro and the factory, and the retailer, have all gotten paid, so no one is going to rock the boat by threatening to cancel the contract over what amounts to tiny details.  As long as the factory makes the number of units and charges the price agreed upon, the rest is just detail stuff, which is worked out by Hasbro asking the factory to make a change to all future units.

Where do you get to sit on your flight?  I'm guessing you don't have free reign to move around the plane while in flight....

Just finished The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance by Sean Williams, who also wrote the novel The Force Unleashed.  Overall I like Fatal Alliance a lot better, granted he had to frame a novel much more around the existing story line for FU (I'm not familiar enough with the MMORP to say the same about FA), which I think really limited what he could do, particularly with fight sequences.  Fatal Alliance was much better about this and was quite enjoyable.

I found at the Pre-Viszla and Mando pack at Target today.

Has it been discussed anywhere what the Kohl's AT-ST pack will be priced?
