Toy Fair is coming soon... but based on social media it seems like the German version of Toy Fair is already offering up teasers for the Solo toy line.
In order to maintain a relationship with Hasbro, I am unable to post or link to any leaked Solo products until officially confirmed... but I thought I'd go ahead and set up the Solo forum and this thread in case anyone wants to, um, speculate about things out there.

If anyone could cryptically phrase what one should google....

LEGO has stated that they won't be showing off any licensed products that will be released after May (which is all Jurassic World sets, DC sets and everything Marvel outside of Avengers Infinity War). Meaning we SHOULD see Solo stuff, but it wasn't specified.
I wonder if Hasbro will have a similar gag order? Their latest offerings at these cons have been lackluster at best, and it seems the new hip thing is for these companies to pay media outlets like USA Today, MTV, or the NY Times to officially reveal stuff. I can't imagine we'll see much outside of a few Han/Lando/Chewie 5POA figures. Which will then be reshown at SDCC in July.

Hasbro should (*subject to change*) be able to talk about some of the Solo stuff coming in April. I doubt we see all of it, but some of it should be on display.
Also, since I forgot to post it in the original post -
Hasbro's 2018 Entertainment Brand Preview Event

Family life will keep me from hitting Toy Fair again this year (really wanted to be there for the chance at Solo stuff), but we will do our best to cover what we can. As always, Twitter (https://twitter.com/jedidefender) will be the fastest route to news as it hits...

I respectfully request that someone ask Hasbro about the utter debacle that is the Walmart 6" Kylo Ren with Throne exclusive. Please get an answer on this! Has it been cancelled? Did they only make 200 of them? Wtf?
And while we're at it, what about running change grey hair TFA Han they showed off forever ago?

My only question for Hasbro is if there's any prayer that they could start squeezing in 2 or 3 or however many original OT items per year... not another Obi-Wan or Luke or Vader... but something they haven't made in the modern line.

I think the Anthology movies set in the time between ROTS and ROTJ could make this a possibility.

Per twitter there will be a Hasbro Pulse app that lets you manage your collection. That seems like a solid idea if it’s done right.
-
For twitter follows I recommend Galactic Hunter and Star Wars Action News to stay up on things during today’s presentation. Oh and Adam Pawlus’ 16bit account cuz he’ll keep you up to date on everything else too. So you kinda know what they’re talking about that probably doesn’t interest you but you’ll also know when Star Wars begins.

Edited this and combined my clusterf of posting during all that, haha. One post is a little more concise at least. Didn't change the text though, so no matter how badly I typed it. :P
-Show is currently on Transformers. *yawn*

-Black Series Tobias Beckett revealed and Mimban Trooper will be a WM Exclusive. I can hear the moaning from NYC here.

Gone today and just looking through things tonight and WOW, this has to be one of Hasbro's best showings in years. So much goodness, and just the shot in the arm the line needed.
-
I have uploaded the Hasbro Toy Fair 2018 press images into our Image Database (https://www.jedidefender.com/gallery/imageFolio.cgi?direct=Conventions/Toy_Fair_2018/Hasbro/Star_Wars).
Really amazed at Toy Fair this year. What a HUGE showing compared to the last few years. It's nice when Hasbro can actually TALK about new things. ;)

I thought there was supposed to be a smaller vehicle w/figure in the assortment with the Wampa & Luke and there was also going to be a mid-size vehicle line in that $30 price point. Any word on those items?
-
Many SOLO items were held back for paid reveals closer to the April launch date...
$20 Class A (‘Nemesis’ Chariot w/Nemesis)
$30 Class B (Han Speeder with Han)
? Class C (TIE Fighter)
Jayson has been doing an excellent job (http://yakfaceforums.com/main/2018/02/12/2018-master-upc-dpci-sku-list-revised/) keeping track of these things... check out his “rumor” list if you haven’t been doing so. ;)

Is the Amazon Exclusive 3-Pack of Droids 6" or 3.75" scale? I took a look and didn't spot any discussion about them in either section?

6" TBS. Hasbro has actually done a fairly decent job with their official photography so that you can tell the various line offerings apart. The 6" TBS figures have a small STAR WARS - THE BLACK SERIES logo in the lower left hand corner, and are shot against a black/grey wash background. The Vintage Collection images have the same background as The Black Series, but feature a Vintage Collection banner across the top of the image. And the SOLO line figures are shot against a white background.

Ah, okay great. Before even TBS being included didn't answer the question fully because the Walmart line was called that too - but now I suppose that if it's officially called The Vintage Collection that'll make it simpler. Thanks!

I noticed the color coding a little while back, but it's still a bit confusing with different lines and some of the same characters popping up in all three.
Hell, I saw a bunch of people calling the R5 unit in the astromech 3-pack R5-D4. In this regard I'm happy to see Steve Evans of Hasbro is actively engaged on social media (https://www.instagram.com/p/BfU2Or2lZ_J/?taken-by=mrstevie18) to clear up some of the potential confusion.

Because I got too tired last night and never got around to starting threads for those. (I guess if I collected the 6" I probably would have made the time, but I don't so... :P)

Forgot about those honestly. If it weren't for the astromech group I'm on on facebook I'd have forgotten about them totally since that group hasn't stopped bitching about them since they saw them. ::)
