I thought that one was being sent to Jan D. ???

Nah... The guy posted it on RS.com... He said he spent to much money on the parts. If Jan want one, she has to commision it... The only thing she "gets" is a mail with he pics. Lame, I know. This guy is just in it for the cash...

Nice? Not bad at all?! Come On!! This is the fig we all wanted! I can't even remember how many attepts I've seen with softgoods, sculpting and other stuff. And the most simple trey, I think works best. If I get my hands on the set, I'll do the same. Thanx for sharing, he's really cool!

Ennis, these are new ones. The blue one is still up.

The corps! space guys line was an even more obscure line then the original one. I don't think they're still shipping.

As I said, I'm willing to trade these.

Now we know who bought Owens' Faie + grunt ;)

Very, and I mean VERY impressive collection!

Thanx Sith Lord Chaos!

It seems the "smaller" forums have the best and most helpfull replies on customs. On big sites mostly I get replies like: "Cool!" "Very cool!" or "Awesome!"

You guys have given me critiques I can work with. Thanx a lot

I've seen most of your work on other boards, and I loved it! I mostly like the fallen jedi and the droid. Very creative, very clean

About the belly, it IS in a lighter grey. But you're right, you can't see it very well in the pics. Even the lower side of the tail has a lighter brown on it. About the weathering, I tried it, it looked "off". Didn't fit the fig.

Thanx for the comments you guys! I try my best.

I'll in the middle of my Holliday period, and I wanted to try something new. I got inspired by Owen's amazing work on creatures from EU series like the CW cartoons, and wanted to do these myself. But when I was exploring his site, I didn't have the curage to start working on those big ones. So I went looking for something a bit smaller.

That's how I got the idea to start building a Kybuck steed (didn't even know the creature's name untill I re-read Yoda's databank entry at SW.com)

I made pics of most of the diffirent building stages. So here we go:

1st stage: getting the stuff together. I mostly used a white (dries when exposed to air) sculpting paste (not in the pic) + some construction materials:

I started repositioning the pair of Jolly Jumper (Lucky Luke's horse) legs and building a base with sticks and balsawood. Then I started sculpting on the head (separated from the body) and the body itself. I used the back legs of the little horse as front paws. ( a lof of dremmeling had to be done)
Some ref. pics:

After the sculpting was done of moth parts, I put the head on the body and glued his sadel in place:

Then I primed him with a spray paint; grey matt

After a second layer of primer, I sanded al of the remaining rough edges of, And the real painting could begin:

The finishing touch (straps, sadelstrap and visors) i did with grey electrical tape and a blue screen from LEGO:

I also added a peg in the saddle so Yoda can ride his trusty steed. The one problem: I don't have a Cartoon yoda to repaint into the correct colors...

So I might as well post it here:
Who can help me find a loose CW cartoons Yoda? Please HELP!
