Also, have any of you guys managed to find Jason Kendell yet?

Yes, I finally managed to find and pick up a Kendell just a few days ago at a SuperTarget in my area. I got real lucky because they must have just restocked the pegs as I also picked up an A's Giambi and Phillies Schilling.  ;D

Other Collectibles / Re: New Unleashed Packaging

That packaging is amazing but I open my unleashed.  One of each will be just fine.  Maybe.  Probably.

Oh no you don't. I sense weakness in you too. You'll be picking up 2 full sets of these just to keep one set carded. You know you wanna.  ;)

I love the new packaging too. This is the kind of thing that really makes it nice being a carded collector. However, that Boba may be the first one I buy 2 of as that just screams to be displayed opened.

Kubricks / Series 2
« on: June 11, 2003, 08:31 PM »
I read somewhere that series 2 will also include Greedo and a Tusken Raider. Anyone else hear about this? They even had pics at SSG but you have to be registered there to see the bigger pics of them.  ::)

LEGO / Re: New Mini wave availible @ shop.lego.com!
« on: June 11, 2003, 08:26 PM »
Actually this new wave is suppose to retail for $6.99 so they should be the same price once they hit retail. I think the reason for the bump in price is due to the models being a little bigger and having more pieces than the first wave.

Either way, put me down for at least one of each of these.  ;D

Here in Minnesota we seem to be about middle of the pack at 6.5%.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Last CD You Bought
« on: June 11, 2003, 08:14 PM »
Last couple of CDs I've bought are the new Deftones album which I think is excellent. Yet another fine example of why they are one of my favorite bands.

The other one is the new Metallica album that I just bought today. I've only listened to 4 songs so far and, eh, I'm not impressed. I hope the rest of the album gets better otherwise file this one with Load and Reload as disappointments by them.  :(

My wife and I just watched those and got a very good laugh out of it.

And no, I hardly looked like that in my bedroom when I broke the light. Had I been pulling the moves that kid was doing, I would have trashed our entire bedroom and probably took out my wife in the process.  :P

Kendall seems to be the hard to find one here. I hit 2 different Walmarts last weekend shortly after it looked as though 1-2 cases were put out and I believe I saw every figure there except Kendall. No variants either.

JD Sports Forum! / Re: Sammy Sosa busted with a CORKED bat!
« on: June 5, 2003, 06:14 PM »
While I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as well, it really does make you wonder what the odds are that in his one and only supposed game he accidently uses a corked bat, it just happens to shatter on him during an at bat. He either got hit with a very unfortunate stroke of bad luck, or this isn't his first game using it.

There's also a new Yoda coming out in the same wave as the Ewoks, Luke and Scout Trooper. Those too are the last ones I've heard about so far.

Saga '02-'04 / Re: What's up with availability
« on: June 2, 2003, 09:51 PM »
I hope you're right. I hit up about a half dozen different Targets in the area this past weekend and all but one had completely empty pegs.

But here's something interesting. One of those Targets that was void of all Saga figs this past weekend, I checked there again today and low and behold, 12-15 figs were there....the same stinking pegwarmers that had been removed just a week ago.  >:(

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: "COPS" TV Show

I use to watch it a lot too but not too much lately. My brother loves the show however. Probably his favorite show as he pushes to become a cop one of these days.

Looks like I'll be the first to represent the Big 12 here as I attented Iowa St University.

Started off in mechanical engineering but got my butt kicked by the physics and calculus that came with it so I switched to accounting. Much easier working with those numbers.  ;D

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Tropical Sprite Re-Mix Praise Thread

I've had it a few times too, and I agree. It's definitely one of the best of the "new" flavors of pop that have come out over the last year or two.

Kind of hard to describe seeing as I haven't had one in a couple weeks, but from what I remember, it's kind of like adding some fruit punch to regular Sprite. Very good tasting stuff in my book.  ;D

Can't say I've seen a diet version of it either so it may not be out yet.
