The Vintage Collection / Re: TVC Gaming Greats Line

I'm excited for the Shae Visla...the Lando is nice, but would rather he be a Solo release and give me some hope for a TVC Rio, Val, L3 and Beckett.

I'm happy to have this Lando on any card. I think its funny that some people don't dig this version of Lando. This is the most Lando Lando that ever Landoed. I think he's totally rad.

I pre ordered mine from Sideshow and it's not on sale, but if you use their payment plan it's far less hard to swallow the price pill.

Cool, can you chime in here when it arrives? It would be nice to hear when it actually arrives given who things are going with shipping.

I'm still going to wait and see on this one.

Will do

Is this thing shipping any time soon?

My pre order says January to March.

Hey,
Give us all a review!

Amazon still has the SOLO release TIE Fighter at a reasonable price of $28. It's a fantastic mold.

I'm finding that a a lego brick seperator is working for some of the stiff panels. It's a pretty harmless tool that can apply force without much impact.

Was talking with a friend this morning and wanted to ask the questions here too...  seeing what you get for $230 with the Jabba's TBOBF Throne Room, how are you guys feeling about a Death Star Playset?

- Would you want any DS Playset to be more modular and something in-between the $50 walls and the $230 Throne Room - like $100 trash compactor, $60 Conference Room, $250 full Detention Cell level with cells, etc?  Then you can pick and choose what to buy/skip.

Modular sets are the Way. Keep them adjustable and modular to fit the needs of many different customers.

I would really like a death star hangar that can be modded to fit one TIE and a tech crew, but also maxed out  by stacking and stretching the build to fit an an imperial shuttle and a formation of troops. Plus I want all the other stuff Jeff mentioned.

Do I recall correctly that Pulse is charging preorders as they are placed rather than when they ship?

If yes, I'll be putting $230 on a card tomorrow.

I hadn't seen this yet - Hasbro Pulse TVC Razor Crest Unboxing video.

For some reason, I thought all three figures were TVC carded, but I guess just Grogu and Jawa Elder are.  Huh.

Its stressful watching this dude lay the ship upside down at 19:00 minutes and crank on it to get the landing gear off. He handles it like he's an ape. We didn't all get one for free dude.

He opens the figures like an ape as well.

My label was created a week ago but no movement yet even though the delivery date is listed as Friday.  I don’t think that is going to happen

My label was created last week with no mention on Pulse. Then I dug in through the layers in fedex.
Fedex  >  Tracking  >  Advance Shipment Tracking

In the list of shipments I found my order number from pulse attached to a shipment under the Reference column by scrolling to the right side of the list.

Also, the Shipper Company is HASBRO HTS-CHINO, which seems to be different then all my other recent Pulse orders. I believe this was listed for Unicron as well, but it has been a while.

All these details were present as of Friday afternoon 2/4/22.

It does look cool..

As for the price, I was expecting to pay $400 for a haslab product and get a lot more of the scenery included. It's too bad they didn't save tooling and paint costs on all the cups and plates and add more scenery. It has the spread of a Calico Critters playset.

I am glad the grill is there though. That is pretty classic scenery behind Jabba.

Also, Its time to watch the value on the (Trophy Wall) Jabba's Palace set shoot up. Get one fast if you never have.

For anyone who might need to provide a "cloaked" entry of the Razor Crest into your place ... I figured I would give a report on my recent experience with receiving my Haslab Unicron.

Like many of you I have a fedex account that emails me when a fedex shipping label is created. I was able to update the receiving address at this time to my local fedex office location. It worked like a charm. The only catch was that the tracking process had no mention of the new address until the day of arrival when it left the local sorting facility. Apparently  the update doesn't register in the system until then. Who knows?

Either way... there's a planet hiding in my basement until the next time I redesign my display layout.

I'm quoting myself in case anyone needs a review on rerouting a package to your nearest fedex location.

Still interesting that everyone walks everywhere.

I thought the same thing - especially the blue guy walking across the desert.  It was bad ass when he walked into town, but a little silly when he left with no ride.

Even Cobb Vanth seems to walk back to town from the moisture vaporator farm.  No speeder in sight (which I'm sure would have tipped off the Pykes to his arrival)

I did not like the choice presented to Grogu at the end though.  I understand the symbolism, but why can't he have both things?  Obi-Wan wore armor during the Clone Wars. Doesn't Shaak Ti wear Togruta jewelry, cloths, and body paint?  I thought it was kind of silly to make him choose in that way.

Or their own colored Jedi Starfighters, their own specialized clothing (you mentioned Shaak Ti, but what about Luminara, Barriss, Aayla?)?  Rules were being broken all the time in regard to the attachment rule.

I'm pretty sure the dark horse comics stated that Ki-adi Mundi's race was very lopsided and had barely enough men to go around. This permitted him to be married and have kids. Maybe some baby mamas... who knows?

I'm a little bored with the attachment thing. I like that Luke brings up Grogu's age in relation to others, but its also kind of dumb that a race that lives that long has to adopt rules from people with the lifespan of a rodent.

The episode was pretty rad in general though. Luke looked so convincing I thought maybe they had brought in Sebastian Stan and done away with the CGI.

Well, there is the hokey story that R5-D4 can use the force. Maybe he joins Boba to mess up the pikes.

Yeah, 7.  Not 6.  :-[

Edit:  I do have a qualm about the use of a seismic charge in such close proximity.... but I need to remember to suspend my disbelief!

Yeah, I would have thought that would have destroyed the ship. Also, have repulsorlifts always worked in all directions? Maybe they have, but it seemed a little weird for the ship to be hanging upside down from the thrusters.

Fun over all though. I might just pretend episode 3 never happened.

Also Thundercat was the cyber mod doctor. An odd but fun choice.

I had a glimmer of hope early on when the water grifter guy mentioned that a gang inn Mos Espa was enhancing themselves. Maybe that would lead to Dengar's upgrades....
nope.

That epic speeder chase seems so familiar.
