I saw the movie preview figures too and I didn't think they were that bad.  I'll probably pick them up someday but when they hit clearance.

Yesterday, I got confirmation from the Transformers Club that they will fill my order for the convention set.  Over the past week I've been tempted to make plans to travel to the Con but I couldn't make it happen and I'm saving for the Atlanta GI Joe Con.  Also, all of the spots, except some by lottery, for the Hasbro HQ tour were full.  Also, the movie premiere during the Con sounded great too.  So in the end I just ordered the non-attending package.  Hopefully, they don't have Sunstorm as an attending premium or con exclusive.

The $329 is the same price they charge for attending the convention.  They always do this at least for the GI Joe Con they also put on.  The price also includes admission to the con, seminars, snacks, dinner, etc.  Unfortunately, they also charge the same amount for not attending and you don't get the extra toy they give out if you show up in person.

Also, the fourth MOTH set will include a repaint of the 1985 Snow Sepent and 1987 Ice Viper.  I'm a big fan of the first set repaint of Night Viper too and I can't wait to army build the arctic set.

I haven't seen or purchased the reissue Soundwave.  I'm going to pass and use the $29.99 plus tax on another original version instead.

I went scouring Ebay the other day looking at vehicles and its OHH so tempting to start placing bids on stuff.

I started scouring Bay in early 2004 for all the 1982-1994 line too.  However, I was hooked after receiving the first few boxes at the front door.  The thing with this line is the army building bug.  I started buying just Cobra troops but that soon led to most 1982-1991 Cobra figures.  Then I started buying a few extra GI Joe figures like Grunt, Zap, Flash and some others in multiples.  After that, I started buying vehicles and sets I already have because all these armies need something to drive or defend.  I have quite a bit of room to display a lot of this stuff which doesn't help me cut back either.

That's a steal for Optimus. I wish I could find one for that cheap ! NIce score !

I saw these for 75% off at the Northtown Target store back in January but I passed.  If it came with a trailer I would have purchased it.  I'm goin to pick up the Masterpiece set with trailer one of these days.

I can't wait for the new MP Megatron in March.

Has anyone purchased a KO Swoop and if so how is the quality?

The WHALE is one of my favorite GI Joe vehicles too.  They also released through mail order around 1993-1994.  If you keep an eye on ebay you can find a complete one for around $50 once in a while.

Since there isn't a definitive Trek collecting board that I can find, I can't ask anyone and I never could make any sense of Playtrek.

I haven't used the Art Asylum forums since about 2003 but it was a good source for information about the new figures.  I believe they still do the sculpting for the Diamond figures.  http://www.artasylum.com/forum/

I just ordered the MP Megatron after seeing the picture.  I still haven't purchased the MP-04 Prime but I'll have to soon.  I ordered it from Canada where they aren't going to put the orange tip on the gun.  Hopefully, it makes it across the border.

The newest new sculpt figures look cool but they won't fit in with the old sculpt figures.  However, they look a lot better then many of the 2002-2006 new sculpt figures.  I'm not sure of the size or how these are packaged but many people hope they are like the Star Wars VOTC figures.  However, I also heard they may be sold as 5-Packs with 2 initially.  These look a lot like super articulated/votc Star Wars figures.

The Marauder guns are awesome.  I received some of the guns through him on ebay and they are very cool.  I really like the AK-47 for my Cobra soldiers and Vipers.

The Neca Nightmare Before Christmas figures are awesome.  There is a lot more coming out this year and I can't wait.

The Lockdown set was found by a yojoe.com forum member today.  I'm going to check TRU today and I hope they carry the newest the comic packs soon.

CW Gunship is definitely 1 per case.  I saw the same numbers at about 3 Targets at least.  3 AT-ATs, 3 Vader 2 or 3 Shuttles.  I saw the Death Star wave quite a bit last week and the Slave 1 in that assortment seems to be the 1 per case ship.
