Sith- just like I've mentioned at other sites (ad nauseum  :-X), I hope some day you use your powers to create obscure film-based characters!  I would so love to see what you could do with some background cantina guys or Jabba goons.  We need a good headsculpt of the Mosep and Solomahal aliens!

I'll second that. Your stuff is really great, but I have no idea who most of these characters are.  :-\

These are just incredible! You have really completely re-imagined all these characters and vehicles and made them your own. Everything has a "what if Star Wars was done in the 1940's" feel to it.

Just beautiful work.

I have to say that I became a member here a while ago, but I stopped coming back because I thought that the customs here were just being repeated on the RS boards. I am so glad that I decided to check in.

Thanks for sharing this brilliant work.

Love the Obi-Wan. I'm glad you went to the effort to paint the under-suit brown instead of leaving it black. Looks way better. Nice work. Nice... gorey... work.  ;)

don't all the trilogos come with the headdress off?

For some reason, I'm not ashamed that I can't answer that question.  ;D

LOL! I just realized that the Blue Clone is in Stormtrooper armour!

Very subtle! Excellent!  8) :D

I have followed the Green Day threads but have never bothered to respond to anything. What confuses me is why everyone gives him the time of day.

I mean if he's an idiot and pathetic, what does that make those who spend their time and energy talking to him?

If people are serious about getting him off the boards, then why not try - I don't know - ignoring him!

The other members on RS have turned this loser into a legend! This is the truly pathetic part of this whole thing IMO.  ::)

I'm not too sure about the species difference... I think the "real" reason might be that the Saurins were created for ANH in the Cantina scene, and due to their tight budgets, they didn't mess with changing the feet.  Then in ESB they went all out with Bossk, hence the difference in species.  I guess they are very similar, but I think Trandoshans are the more war-like species, slightly larger, and have more claw-like feet.

 :P

For sure. The hands too. In ANH, a Saurin in the cantina seems to have regular hands as well. They also have black eyes and less ruddy features in general. Here's a pik for comparrisson. Keep in mind that there is a Saurin in ROTJ in Jabba's throne room and Bossk is on the Barge. So I guess GL wanted to hit home that they are 2 different species.

Yeah, that Myo body works perfectly in the Trandoshan scale.

I actually do think the legs are too long on mine though. I have to reduce those ammo straps by about 1/2 width and they should be just right.

Made it ages ago.

Don't you remember you pointed out that the legs were too long? Which they are, BTW.  ;D

Here a link to my Tedious Customs.Tedious Customs pg 2

You'll notice on that very page that I also did a white AT-RT custom that is almost the same as Phruby's. It happens. Espescially when you are as prolific a customizer as you are CHEWIE.   ;)

BTW, even if you intentionally copied my custom - which I know you didn't and the 2 are not even that similar anyway, I would be nothing but honoured.  ;D

Edited. This thread is for CHEWIE's customs afterall.  ;)

The panel on the front of R5 looks like it opens like the VOTC R2. I wonder if it is sealed or will openable.

If it were just going to remain sealed, you would think Hasbro would have just used the R4-G9 body.

I think the figures themselves look amazing. Great liknesses and colour paint apps.

The characters are what makes these figures boring.

Picked these up at the weekend ;D

Hey you could kill a few hours shaking that Rancor Keeper card around trying to get this head-dress back on his head! You really scored 2 toys in 1 on that one!

I just bought a Cloud Car for $20 Canadian. It isn't in perfect shape, but it's okay. The store owner even threw in a Bespin guard (with mustache) as well.

Just picked mine up today.

No surprises. I just wish the body was slightly smaller.
