New Galactic Heroes...

Chewie and Clone

Also listed are Mace and Kit and R2 and Super Battle Droid

Ooooh...

I'm looking forward to the Kit Fisto figure.   :)

Er, I mean, my 3-year old nephew is.  Yeah, right, that's the ticket.   :P

So another six on May 1, eh?  Cool.  Keep em coming Hasbro!

And I can admit it, I buy these for ME, I'm comfortable with my masculinity.  Well, at least until the smart ass comments fly, anyway.   ;)

I wonder if the Chewie will just be a repack of one of the two previous ones (which were basically the same too).

I was wondering the same thing about the R2.  I hope they don't start repacking 1 new fig with an older one.

Were there 2 Chewies?  I thought there was only 1.  What did I miss?    ???

Well, there was one with the Falcon set...and then the slightly "tweaked" one that came in the two pack with 3PO.  Not too much difference really, the first has a bowcaster (which is removable from his hand and can be put on his back), and the second has more of a "smile" going on and has a molded in blaster instead of the bowcaster.

You can see a pic comparison, courtesy of the RS archives:

Y'know, I have the original Falcon but still haven't opened it up yet.  Sheesh.

I guess I never paid close enough attention to the Chewie included with the Falcon, I always assumed the two were the same.  Oh well, unless it comes down in price from the $50CDN they're charging at TRU, I'll not worry about it.

On deck?  Hell, they've been out for at least a couple weeks already!   :P

I picked 'em up at Target back then, but like a good boy who only collects the OT Galactic Heroes, I had the willpower to return them a few days later.  I'm so proud of myself...   8)

No, no, no, no.  You were supposed to send them to me.  You don't remember that conversation?   :P

Target in Covina off the 10 freeway had about 4 sets of each of the new GHs this morning.  Grabbed the Emperor/Yoda set since that was the only one I had yet to find.

I found these last week as well, on Tuesday I believe, and picked up a set of each.  I think they had 3-4 of each that day.  Happened to be at the same Target exactly 2 days later, and they were completely wiped out.  I don't know how it is in the rest of the country, but this line (the 2 packs in particular) are very, very quick sellers.  Usually sold out in a matter of days.

Nice idea I guess for the kiddos, and one might be cool for a keychain, but I think I'll be passing ;).

I'll be passing on those danglers myself. I see no need for them.

I could see getting a Yoda for my daughter - she likes Yoda because "he's not a bad guy".   :)

However, I collect the regular ones, so I don't see me grabbing these.

I am passing on the key chains, no need for them for me anyway.
