McFarlane Alien/Predator
« on: April 20, 2004, 01:34 PM »
New images of the Alien vs. Predator figures are up at Spawn.com.

AvP Figures

I'm psyched for this line. Including the refresh figures, this will be a good year for this line of figures...and it comes at a good time with all the repacks from the Star Wars line!

Yup, despite my earlier comments, I'll likely snag three of these.  I had been under the impression that they were only re-releasing the sculpts from last year with minor modifications.  Not quite the case, is it?

Three more Preds to go with my other four.  Very nice.

Should this be merged with the McFarlane MM thread?

I thought of that, but these aren't from the Movie Maniacs line.

If you were fighting something with acid for blood, you'd probably want to stay far away from it.  ;)

Does anyone here collect the Alien/Pred line of busts from Palisades?

I just started, and I've been picking them up on ebay slowly, most for some pretty good deals...

I'm only missing the Queen and the Original pred and Alien, as well as the micro preds...

Are there ANY Alien or Predator figures in the 3.75"-ish range?

Even somewhat close (4", or slightly larger)?

I've wanted something to display as a crossover with Star Wars, but alas I can't find squat in this range.  I'm not familiar with Alien or Predator toys though...

There is the old Kenner "Aliens" line from the early/mid 90s...they had quite a few different types of Aliens. My Cantina has always had a "Scorpion Alien" in it (looks most like the classic Alien) and it seems to be pretty close in scale, about as tall as Chewie.

There was a Kenner "Predator" line as well, don't know how clos ethe scale came on that...

I have the Scorpion, Bull & Gorilla Alien figures from Kenner.

I do not have any of the Predator figures ethier but I would imagine they are around the same scale as the Alien figures. There were a few versions of the Predator released by Kenner.

There was also a 2 pk of the Alien & Predator.
