I thought that was clear from the last time the Infiltrator question was asked.

Here I have to agree with Matt.  For ***** sake stop asking about damn playsets!  We all want them and they are not going to make the damn things so move on and be unhappy.

Today when I went to Target to get some stuff I thought about this.  My wife had to convince me to go to the SW aisle b/c I just was not into it.  I used to hit the aisle as soon as I came into store and lately it has become more of a "sure why not" thing.

I will never get rid of my stuff.  I love what I have and making dioramas and displaying my armies and what not.  But it is the "new" product that falls short in my eyes.  And ironically as the days pass I can afford more and more stuff but I find much less interesting product arriving from big H.

Sometimes I feel like Threepio.  "I'm done for" :-\

Jango's clones don't exactly keep you warm at night.

Boo-yaa!

I like big armies and I cannot lie but I enjoy a big butt more ;)

Nothing is worst than the Sandcrawler for scale.  The Falcon is close in worst of all time.

Look at the rest of the BPs for 2007.  With the exception of the purple Windu clones (exception based on scuplt not color) the BPs of the new year all display Hasbro's new policy, the 3 Rs.

I agree with Lando.  Hasbro can shove the coins up their butts.

I actually want to take all the coins and mail them to Hasbro with a nice note, something like this:

"Dear Hasbro, As I am aware of your need to keep costs down and your policy of the 3 Rs (rehash, repaint, repack), here are some coins to further your business or to shove up your ass".

You know that is part of the reason that Hasbro has to always mess with us.  B/c of the way this questions are made and the fact they are often repeated (between sites do not even get me started on within sites) it tells them we are unorganized and fragmented as a community which translates to more $$ for them.

It is practically a license to dick us around with repaints, repacks and rehashes b/c we will take it.

I have not been in a toy run in about 2 weeks and I feel so relaxed about it.  I guess I am almost done with this hobby. :-*

I would have to sell most of my collection to be able to buy and display a scale AT-AT.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Bothan in 2007 says Hasbro!

Is there a "definative" image of what a Bothan looks like?  I've seen the one in BFII (usually as they appear, hit me with the flame gun and then I expire)...Is that most likely to be the image we get?

I would think so.  It seems that the Bothan spy is part of the video game figures coming out.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Best, Oldest Figure?
« on: September 25, 2006, 11:15 PM »
I guess there are several questions here.

The oldest figure that I display side by side with new figures has to be orange card Chewie.  I know he is crap by I have him picking out of an AT-ST in my newly revamped Endor diorama (which I am actually finishing up this week).

I also have about 30 or so orange card steroid stormies that I display in various dioramas as super troopers.

Some of the best scultps for the day would have to be cantina aliens.  Some of those guys look pretty good next to the newer guys (articulation aside).

Are you guys suggesting that Hasbro would lie to us, the collectors?

Say it ain't so? :P

Hasbro?  Full of ****?  Impossible!

I do not know why Hasbro does not call thing my their proper names.  It is not a coin album but rather a screw you kit. :P

Is it just me or is Hasbro doing to Star Wars what they did to the 80's GI Joe line?

Clearly they have been doing it to vehicles for a while but now they are clearly doing it to figures too.
