For my pre-ordered Chopper delivered on Sunday I got the shipping notice at 4AM and then it was delivered at 10AM.  I haven't seen that quick of a turn before.

Hera was supposed to be delivered today from Amazon, but I got the delay approval email. Rats!

I got a shipping update from Amazon about R5-D4.  The delivery date had been February 2nd, and it's been moved up to Christmas Eve.  I have had zero luck finding R5 in a store.  But I have seen Krennic at least a couple of times in GameStop.

I got mine yesterday. It's... I haven't looked it over yet, but it fullfils a need.

As an aside, it's now clear that my Amazon deliveries typically take less time to ship than HasbroPulse orders, which take 7 days from Illinois. I'm in no rush to get them but there's something for me about having orders in transit. So barring exclusivity or Hasbro opening a distribution center closer my area, i'll be going Amazon.

I'm not an expert on the details, but from re-watching the scene that show R5-D4's backside, it does look like the 3 red panels look good. However, the red stripe down the front side appears to be thinner than in the movie. On the side of the head unit, the red striping around the "circuitry" -- I don't know what to call it -- is thicker on the toy. And there's red striping around the "circuitry" at the back of the head that I don't see in the film.

So what’s the deal with Chopper from this wave?? He’s sold out everywhere and I haven’t seen any restocks in months. Is that it? Why is this not a character to carry forward in future waves?

Jeff posted recently that the report was that the factory said they wouldn't be able to deliver more choppers... I didn't see an explanation...

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say they can't make any more for now because they are using the mold to make the Mural 2-pack version right now, and/or they figured 2 runs of the figure already would be enough.

Yikes, thanks guys. I figured I’d better not take any chances so I just overpaid for one from Amazon. It’s coming all the way from the UK, so I guess the struggle is real…

This would be my guess as well.  I have also heard that the production numbers on the secondary TVC assort (F6878) are lower than the regular assortment (E7763).  No way to verify that though since Hasbro never comments on those #s.

Reminder that F6878 is now a "fan channel" assortment and the other E7763 is the mainline assortment.  It could be that "fan channel" assortment has a lower production number since they don't have to make enough for Walmart/Target?
