Another Hasbro Pulse live stream reveal - brand new Darth Vader sculpt. Uses existing ANH Vader with new sculpted torso and updated helmet, lightsaber and robe. Coming on a Rogue One card with new Rogue One cardback photo.
Going up for pre-order later today.

Yeah, there was a Phase I Rex (https://www.jedidefender.com/gallery/imageFolio.cgi?action=view&link=Conventions/Celebration_VI/Hasbro/Official_Press_Images/Droid_Factory&image=CptRex.jpg&img=&tt=) they showed a long time back for the 2012/2013 Droid Factory line. Lots of people out there who still wish that figure would get released.
For whatever reason, Hasbro changed plans and gave us the Phase II non-removable helmet Rex in the 3.75" Black Series line in 2014/2015 instead of this Phase 1 figure/sculpt.

YES! These look awesome. I think based on the timeline it took for Hasbro to roll these out, we're looking at this time next year for a look at season 2 characters who are yet to be revealed.

Wow, these both look outstanding. I’ll admit that due to the slow drip of news about the TVC line I sometimes almost put it on the backburner. Then we get some nice all new reveals like this and all the love of why I started collecting in the first place comes rushing back. Hope this is just the beginning!
It reminds me once again how cool an entire Mandalorian-focused line would be. Imagine all these main/supporting characters alongside figures of oddball aliens and bounty hunters we’ve seen along the way. A couple beasts, vehicles, and we are rolling.

I’m stunned by how fast Mando sold out on Hasbro Pulse around 4 pm ET. Thankfully I had the Amazon app open and was able to find it there. Now I’m curious about how the figures in this wave are going to ship from Amazon. Will they ship them all together?

It looks like this wave has turned up at Target stores. I'm hoping that these will turn up at other retailers soon as well, because Target's online orders seem to sell out in a flash. These appear to be the figure numbers:

My buddy was able to coax a case of these out from the stockroom at Target and was kind enough to stash Rex for me, so I now own the one figure I wanted from this wave. ;D

It seems like this wave is shipping in bits and pieces from online retailers. I got Vader from Amazon the other day. And Hasbro Pulse is getting set to ship Moff Gideon. As for the rest? Who knows with the way shipping is going. Even FedEx and UPS seem to have slowed down.

Amazon has been shipping more of this wave. I'm expecting Beskar Mando, Captain Rex and the Armorer today.
Unrelated? I got Moff Gideon from Hasbro Pulse last week. The likeness on that figure is unbelievably good! But I've also been seeing some examples of figures that should not have gotten past the QC people, with the paint applications for the hair being really off. I've also heard some people saying that the single packed version of Fives may suffer from a similar issue.

Got my shipping notice from EE for the full Beskar Mandalorian figures. Man it's been a while waiting for these!

I ordered another Beskar Mandalorian as well as the Armorer. These shipped, but as always the tracking info from EE is weird. You get an indication that a label has been created and it's been picked up, but then it disappears for a few days, but never in the custody of USPS. And the tracking info is only useful for the last day or so before it arrives. It kind of defeats the purpose of tracking information.
Anyhow, I'm hoping that the Armorer shows up MOMC!

So my Mandalorian figures showed up today. I like the figure, even though his armor is a little too silver. Odd that it seems we got these a lot later than Europe and Australia. That seems to be happening a lot lately.

This is production run number two for Mando, so they must not have been able to fill your order from run #1. Pulse seems to be doing that lately - taking pre-orders they know they can't fill with production allotment #1 but then filling the pre-order when run #2 hits.

Do we know if the new $16.99 Mando in Beskar armor that Pulse is taking preorders for is identical to the one from this wave? The photos look the same to me, but I'm never really sure unless one of you heard Hasbro say it.

Yeah, it’s a reissue. I was kind of surprised that Hasbro didn’t have an updated Din Djarin in the works with the Darksaber before the new season began. But it makes sense for them to have him available for now.

I’m glad they didn’t. We don’t need microscopic changes to figures to encourage idiots like me to buy them twice. Besides, no one would buy the Rescue Set if you could get the spear with a single carded Mando.

Ha! Fair enough. I do hate firewalled accessories though, especially where I'd love to have that spear in a couple scenes.

I’d definitely like to get the Beskar spear in an offering beyond the Rescue Set. But I want it either with a new Din Djarin, or maybe with a Morgan Elsbeth figure. We’ve got this amazing Ahsoka Tano (Corvus), but no HK droids, the Calodan guards or Morgan Elsbeth for Ahsoka to interact/duel with.
