I did just go check my preorders list and I preordered 24 of these guys. 

Whichever company ships first gets the sale... I definitely don't want more than 12.

I've got 8 Darktroopers on preorder right now.  If Amazon comes through with theirs first, I'm going to cancel the 2 I ordered from Hasbro Pulse.

For a while my Target preorder for these has been a pending charge on my check card. it just fell off this week. Anybody else notice something similar?

Nothing like that on my order.

Amazon is sending out messages that they are shipping the Darktrooper over the next week. And they have adjusted the price to $19.86 for the figure as well. A Festivus miracle!!

I got the update, too.  I’m seriously considering shifting more of my preorders to Amazon because of the preorder price guarantee.  With the current price situation it’s a more attractive option.

$19.86 is the exact price my Target preorders are except at Target I also get 5% off.  So Amazon’s price is slightly worse.  That said, for a buck a piece I’ll probably just keep the 12 Amazon is sending and cancel the Target preorders.

My Darktroopers arrived from Amazon yesterday.  I've been holding off on opening these until I get some time where I can focus on them.  In the note that I got from Amazon they made a point of showing how I saved $8 per figure with the preorder price guarantee.  Considering I ordered 6 of these?  That's not an insignificant amount of money!

I just got emails saying all mine are pushed back to a Jan 8-9 delivery now.

Likely the weather caused your delay.

My Amazon order was surprisingly pushed up to tomorrow. No sniff of the ones from Target, though.

I just got emails saying all mine are pushed back to a Jan 8-9 delivery now.

Mine were pushed out too, but only until Jan 3/4.

12/30 Update - Last night I got an email that 3 of 4 are arriving today via UPS and the 4th is arriving on Saturday.  Weird.

After all these delivery estimate emails, all 12 have shipped and are supposed to get here Monday...

I have yet to get emails, but my tracking is now 2 days late. Mine were supposed to arrive yesterday and were apparently on the delivery truck but keep getting delayed. (We did get 10" of snow in Denver starting Wednesday evening though.)

Got these today.  I don’t quite know what I expected but at an MSRP of $27 or whatever, I guess I expected more. 

The figure is okay I guess… the rack could use a floor with some foot pegs… I have a hard time getting him to hold the blaster without it falling out.  Those little tubes that stick out of the back wall don’t seem to work the way the instructions suggest they’re meant to… and even its not, the Trooper still feel undersized to me.

I have yet to open any of my 4 (or even check out the one included in The Rescue box set), but I have seen a couple bad reviews similar to what Rob just said - gummi plastic, won't hold the weapon, underwhelming size/weight, alcove needs a floor, etc.

Maybe I don't need 4-5 of these afterall...  I might just keep two - 1 from The Rescue and 1 of the deluxe ones - and send the other 3 deluxe sets I got back to Amazon.
