Saga '02-'04 / Endor Wave
« on: December 24, 2003, 02:22 PM »
This in straight from Rebelscm.com:

Rebelscum reader 'Celticsfan' informs us that Star Wars Insider magazine has details of new upcoming toys for 2004. A new Battle of Endor-themed wave is planned including Han Solo in AT-ST Driver gear (shown in the magazine,) General Crix Madine, and General Lando Calrissian. Toys R Us exclusive toys include Red Leader's X-Wing Fighter (also shown) and several new multipacks like the "Skirmish at Carkoon" set we previously reported on. Fans of the Screen Scene Jedi Council sets will be pleased to know that more are on the way, incuding a center floor section. Looks for the first new set to include Ki-Adi-Mundi, Yoda, and Qui-Gon Jinn.

I'm happy about the Han and Madine, but I really don't care for another Lando. And what about the Ewoks, are they still on their way, or are they gone?

I don't plan on buying the re-hash of Jango Fett- Kamino Escape, so this would just be another waste of time for me. As much as I like Amanaman, I don't want to see another one released.

Wow, congrats on your find. I haven't even seen the first ones yet. I didn't even know the second wave was out yet. Where'd you find these?

Anywho, my name is Brian. I LOVE Star Wars, obviously. I live in New York, I'm 18 years old. yadda yadda yadda.

See ya in the forums!!! :-)

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Bye Bye Mr Dooku We Hardly Knew Ya

We know that the films opens with a space battle and that the start of the film signals the end of the clone wars (see theforce.net) so we can guess, probably quite accurately, that Dooku and the droids are fighting over  Dooku's home planet.  Dooku takes out a few Jedi, being an expert jedi pilot, but Anakin, in an epic shoot out, guns him down.

Sounds like a damn good start to me!

I wonder if Dooku realises his been betrayed by Palpy in those final moments?

I hope that he doesn't die in a space battle. That would be a sucky way for him to go out. If he fought Anankin or Obi-Wan one-on-one, and lost, that would be cool.

He WILL be playing Jango in a flashback/pre-recorded holographic message. Peter Mayhew told me

Woah, that is awsome. I was kinda hoping that he would be playing Boba Fett, but as I thought about it more, it didn't make sense.
