Last movie I saw was
Chicago Its a musical, it was my wife's turn to pick the movie and with all of its Oscar buzz I thought why not. It was decent, the story was good, the singing was good. Richard Gere was the perfect actor for the part, but he cannot sing worth a dime. Zeta Jones and Zellweger were both very good in their roles as was Queen Latifah.
I don't think this is Best Picture of the Year material at all (I thought last year's Moulin Rouge was 10x better) If it does win it must have been a really weak year for movies. TTT was far better, and I think the LOTR is getting the shaft, one 9 hour movie would have won best picture but there is no way one of the three parts ever will. Too bad really...
So on the OCB scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, 1 the lowest I'll give
Chicago a 7. Worth the money if you like musicals in general, it also is a very good story on fame and the like.
