I think we got some transfer player from your team there Brian - North Carolina.  I forget his name, but he transferred out in 2001 I think, and has been kicking some booty for us so far.  Dropped five 3's the other night I believe.  With UCLA's hoops history, expectations are usually very high, which is why Steve Lavin got canned despite going to like six Sweet 16's during his tenure.  Championship or bust in Westwood.  Just probably not this year though...

Yeah, I think that guy's name is Brian Morrison.  Not too bad a player, I hope he does well even though he left Tarheel land.  He can shoot the rock pretty well...and if I remember right from last year, he has some ups too for a shorter player.  Good luck to him, as well as the Bruins .

I really doubt I would have been able to avoid as much of the LOTR figures as I have if they were in the 3 3/4" scale...I would have been all over those I'm guessing .

I'm not sure if this is the best forum to post this in, so if its not, feel free to move it .  I was just curious, which "scale" of action figures do you feel is the best, or your favorite?  Do you prefer the 3 3/4" scale of our beloved Star Wars, or the 6" scale that is more common in many other figure lines?  There seems to be advantages of both scales, such as the space/vehicle/playset advantages of 3 3/4", and the added articulation (and in some cases, detail) of the 6" scale.  Personally, I really like the 3 3/4" scale, because that is basically what I grew up with between Star Wars and GI Joe, and it allows more vehicle, playset releases, and is easier to display overall I think.  I do have some 6 inch-ish scale things, a handful of ML, LOTR, and MOTU figures....as well as some of the Unleashed line...and in the case of Unleashed, it seems that the likenesses are often done a little better, although I think hasbro does a pretty good job overall with the 3 3/4" scale liknesses.  Anyways....what scale do you like the best?

I saw this pic last week, and I agree...this is how I imagined the pre-Vader Anakin.  I think that Hayden looks perfect in that pic...very battle worn, the glove is awesome, and it does look like he has "bulked up" quite a bit from the last movie.  The movie is looking good so far...

I was really happy to see that Swami report as well, I hope it all turns out to be true.  I've personally really been hoping for an Endor Han resculpt (I wasn't overly happy with the 2002 version, like many others).  I hope they do it up like Jesse James suggested....lots of articulation, working holster, soft goods coat, etc.  I'm also very happy to hear about a General Lando, another needed resculpt.  Madine and any Ewoks are always welcome as well, hopefully they use this two pack to release a couple of the vintage ones that haven't come out yet.  I'll be looking forward to (hopefully) confirmation and, in the future, pics of this wave.

I don't follow the mini-mate stuff really, but I assume these are sold domestically here, right - unlike my beloved Kubricks?  Hmmm...  I don't collect any other lines, but I love LOTR and if this particular mini-mate line expands a bit more I just might start looking into it...

I agree Matt, they do look kind of tempting to me too.  One of the reasons I haven't picked up more LOTR figures (only 2) than I have is because I don't have the space...especially for the 6" figures.  These little ones might be a little more tempting

I just had a question for those of you that collect Marvel Legends.  Although I only pick up the X-Men from this line, space is still at a premium in our office (where the Star Wars collection resides).  I have my ML figs out too, but am running out of space fast and thought about putting the bases away to save a little bit of room.  Do you display your with your bases, or without?  Some of them look pretty nice, so it is nice to have them out, but they do take up a little more room in some cases.  Just curious what some of you do .
