Jeff, that's not a bad theory. A good way to test it would be to see what type of clamshell the Grievous exclusive gets. Since Target tends to be the only brick & mortar that gets exclusives with clamshells, it would make sense for them to want to protect against figure swapping. Granted then that gives them justification to bump up the costs, which hurts the honest buyers.

The Target Grievous has a taped sealed clamshell...

Hahahaha... it's bad to say, but I have no pity for people who are stupid enough to fall for **** like that. The hard to find "Sega" variant? He doesn't have Sega on him anywhere...

He might have meant "Saga", but that's no excuse. But by typing "Sega" is another indicator that it's just an f'ing scalper, too busy hoarding Hot Wheels Treasure Hunts in his ******* to know any better.  ::)

I think it took 4-6 weeks to get mine, so I would think you should expect yours anytime now.

Power of the Jedi / Re: Best POTJ Fig?
« on: April 21, 2006, 10:34 PM »
Aside from the lack of articulation, I think POTJ will probably go down as the favorite segment of the modern line in many people's eyes.  Hasbro really catered to fans during this period, and they had to, after the near K.O. that followed EP1 at retail.  They don't seem hardly as interested in maintaining a good relationship with their base nowadays (more like they're exploiting it) and so maybe the figures are 'better', but not as fun.

Exactly, did you ever think, back in the day, that we'd be getting a FX-7, K-3PO or 2 kick ass Astromech Droids?

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: EP III DVD Easter Eggs?
« on: April 20, 2006, 11:06 PM »
Not an easter egg per se but an nod to the OT...

I am watching EIII right know and notice something for the first time.

During the opening battle, at the 4:09 mark, one of the clone trooper/ARC 170 Pilot has an insignia on his helmet that is exactly the same as Boba Fett's upper right chest emblem.

Neato!
