There's one repaint ship we won't see.

Dooku let Hondo off light. Not sure why Dooku was dismantling the ships, as opposed to just commandeering them with droid crews.

Hondo calling Dooku a Sith lord but seemed to think Maul and Opress are Jedi in the episode set after this one (they reshuffled the airing order).

Grievous has some strange speeder, one yet to appear in toy form.

Kenobi letting Hondo go? WTF?

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: CW Mandalorian Troop Shuttle
« on: November 23, 2012, 10:02 PM »
I was looking my shuttle over...  It's a neat ship, but not for what it ultimately was intended to be.  It's cooler as a small fighter than a shuttle...  The cockpit is pretty cramped and the ship's size is kind of unrealistic IMO, but as a little Mando fighter I think it has some hope so I'm going with that I think.

Just opened mine. Oh, yeah it's cramped. I'm fine with it being a shuttle, but the body needed to be maybe a 1/2 inch or inch wider to give the figures elbow room. As much empty space was in the box, they had room to make it a tad bigger. Still, not enough transport craft made. Even if it had been a 3 seater, it still would deserve praise just for holding that many  figures.

Sale is still going on today according to Jedi Temple Archives.

Freaking glue. This is a pyrrhic value. I got 3 out of the backer with minimal damage/residue. The rest are hopelessly stuck to the back side of the cardboard holder. The other pack I got is totally glued in. Hair dryer seems to have no effect on the glue.

So, I'm debating if Seripas is worth $25. I guess Wolfe is okay...I'm not in love with the clone wars line anymore, so my plan was to keep what I wanted and resale/trade the rest. Now that idea is just one big headache.

I did not see her in a value pack, but a TJ Maxx had Siff like a week ago for $6...who knows if she is still there.

I noticed that unlike the Star Wars packs, the figures in these could  be "swapped" out without great difficulty...some were loose in the store.

Found wave 3 or whatever at a Wal-Mart...got Kithaba...passed on the rest for now hard to pay $10 for a figure when there's 8 packs for $20. They had Nom, too.

I found one today...just one left. Passed on the rest of the combo, AV cannon tempting but...not a jedi fighter collector...but I know I'd keep it since I didn't have it.

Went to two Wal-Marts

"Ghetto" Wal-Mart (not that bad, just small) had GOBS of them, Avengers, Clone Wars 2011 and 2012, Movie Heroes and Saga Legends.

The super Center had 6 Clone Wars (2011 and 2012) and 4 Avengers ones left.

Hard to find Clone Wars figures were gone or not to be found (the 2012 releases  I saw were all the same 8 figures), except in the 2 packs I found.

Here's the two I got:
Aquad Droid
Commander Wolfe
Seripas
Sasee Tinn
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2011)
Shirtless Savage Opress
Stealth ops Clone
Trooper Hevy in training gear

and
Shaak Ti
Trooper Hevy In training gear (again)
Clone Trooper Draa
Quinlan Vos
Boba Fett
R4-P17
Undead Geonosian
Cato Parasitti

That was it, there was more diversity in the 2011 packaged stuff, though the two packs I found were heavier on scarce releases. No single carded Mandos or season 3 Ahsoka.

Saga Legends assortments were similar but not set in stone, best I could find was one with 4 army builders, Chewbacca....sucky Vader and Grievous and some  other character. It amounted to paying $5 each, because the Vader and Grievous suck so much...so I passed. Saw no later 2011 releases...space trooper, ds trooper, stormtrooper...

Avengers stuff seemed totally random...given 3 different lines to pick from, not surprising. Some sets were tempting, but I don't collect Marvel. Figures I never saw before Armored whiplash, Red skull, Crossbones, Destroyer, comics Iron Monger

Now to decide what to keep.  :P

She took time to warn them to GO BACK.

The whole episode could've been Michonne leaving messages for them.

"Another message....a butt and she dug a hole....I don't get it."

"A-hole...hey, Merle, this ones for you!"

I forgot the worst new character "bow girl", whose dad wanted her to be in the Olympics but she can't hit a walker 30 feet away.

I'll miss Car..car...how do you say his name again? He got into the spirit of things. If a chick sliced me with a samurai sword and ran off into zombie country...I might just agree with Merle so I could get back to town, get stitched up and have a beer....no matter what I would actually tell the governor later.

How did Merle and Michonne go in different directions and wind up in the same place? Why didn't Merle's team have a vehicle somewhere?

One of thing of interest. Hershell actually heard static on the phone. Assuming Hershell was there and he wasn't a hallucination.

Mixed bag episode...the Rick parts were irritating. The other parts were Andrea is an idiot and people finding each other because...Georgia is such a small place, apparently, and every other person is an expert tracker.

Governor is an idiot. Wastes man power hunting Michonne. Goes after other survivors when there's still TONS OF STUFF to loot it seems.

Glenn and Maggie need to shoot first and ask questions later...who cares if it's Darryl's evil brother.

Plus side, no more Carol's ambigious fate nonsense. And Evil Glenn (Governor's Asian flunkie with the mustache) is dead...
No guts, no gorey...glory moment with Michonne...pretty awfully awesome.

At Target, I found the same damn 4 TPM wave figures they've had left for months now.

I saw a GI JOE RETALIATION Hiss tank and thought "maybe they marked it down" and it scanned as $31 :P . Then I left.

It was about time we got to see Grievous's trademark move again...TIME TO ABANDON SHIP!

Space battle was rather arbitrary...but welcome.

Did want to pay David Tennant for this episode.

And...why would a space circus perform for pirates that had previously killed members of the troupe?

Somehow the kids are less annoying than the Onderon arc characters.

Carrie Fisher confirms she is appearing. Because, you know, she has nothing better to do.
