Go ahead and delete this subforum. Or change it to "The ???? Collection" until Toy Fair.

"Fight the separatists with this awesome group of starfighters. "

Jango Fett likes to fight Separatists, when he's, you know, not working for them.  :P

The clone wars releases have had carded images shown, assumably they are ready to go.

Problem with breaks, is that after distribution of Vintage, I feel like the whole thing is a break until some minor miracle happens.

The Vintage Collection / Re: Best of 2012?

Best Figure: Kithaba

Runner Up: Probably one I didn't find (Shae? Nikto?) or didn't open (I'm subconsciously planning on retiring on Malgus and Navy Trooper and 2 Royal Guards  :P ). That I did open/buy, I'll go with Weequay.

Best Vehicle: Speeder Bike I never got around to getting. Why? I'm cheap. Also, I'd acquired 3 POTF2 bikes over the summer for less than $10 total.

Runner Up:  AAT with the new seat...am I being sarcastic?  Of what I actually bought, I'd pick the Mandalorian Transport which was supposed to be released last year. So it's either the AAT, the BARC speeder (was that even a repaint?) or the vintage boxed AT-AP, which was a reissue, not even a repaint...I think.

Best Exclusive: that retailer went defunct ages ago...(who even remembers BEST?).  Ewok  set.

Runner Up: the AT-ST drivers, even though they are too tall and should've included helmets with the goggles up as well.

Best Multi-pack: Fields of Naboo battle pack...er...Ewok Set

Runner-Up: don't know didn't buy any others...the Maul Pack for clone wars?

Tusken Raider, even with the swivel elbows, ain't bad.

I never got any of those figures. I knew they'd be blown out some day.

I thought Harry Carey was a baseball announcer and had died years ago?

Harry Carey Jr. was a character actor notable for appearing in many westerns as far back as the 1940's and as recently as the mid 1990's. No relation to the announcer, he was the son of another actor.

Strange way to end a 700 issue series.

I predict that within a year, the Punisher kills  this possessed Spider-Man and takes his place as Spider-Punisher, leading to some confusion as to whether his intent is to punish arachnids or criminals.

Then Peter Parker is cloned back to life with the memories of himself and Dr. Doom for some reason.

These are $23.99 at toyrus.com.

So basically the brick and mortar store was ripping local customers off. Charming.

I was just messing with some of the Nikto's and Weequay's that have been made in the past few years.  It's too bad some of the Weequay's didn't make this assortmanet because there are some pretty decent Kitbashes that can be done with between most of the Nikto and Weequays.  Just swapping heads and hands.

Kithaba and Nikto Jedi head's swap out decently, Kithaba's head being a bit tight on Nikto (I'll never remember his name). I haven't tried their hands, because I only have one of each figure.

$4.99 Rebel Fleet Troopers at AMazon currently...super saver shipping qualified, too. Kithaba is under $6, too.  $4.12 super battle droids (vintage) as well.

All the remaining Wave 17 figures have gone back up in price, except the the episode 1 repacks.

At the bargain price of $27.99!

Keep 'em.

AMC renewed the series for season 4, no surprise, but....Executive producer Glen Mazzara to leave zombie drama after Season 3

Amicable or not, it's not great news to lose executive producers two seasons in a row.  What is Kirkman or AMC's vision for the show?

They can bring back Jaxxon!

Pick-up where the vintage Marvel run ended, bad art and poorly conceived  new enemies.

1619
True Mini-Rigs...in a bad way.

Yeah, $20 for one of these vs. $20 for two figures and a mini-vehicles?

I can only hope that post-Disney buy-out,  Hasbro will  be less pressured by Lucasfilm demands and go back to larger offerings.
