Dressel, could you clarify the requirements for a win for pitching? I thought I knew all the basics but Kenny Rogers went out of the game after 4 and a third, leading 7-5, his team won 7-6, but he didn't get the W - Román Colón did.

Do you have to get through a certain number of innings to earn a W even if you leave with a lead that holds up?

Perhaps were I African-American I might think differently, but I've not had their experiences.

You just reminded me of something I read the other day...

(just the first part)

Where have you seen these on clearnance?

I impulse-bought #13 yesterday... now I'll probably need to get two more.

Oh.  Yesterday you said it was because it would be urinating on the memory of the vintage line more than they already have.  I thought it was the purist in you.

 :)

I can't speak for Matthew,  but that's certainly 99% of it for me.

The thing I don't get is, if you are an opener, what in the world does it matter what packaging it comes on?  Put them on freaking Strawberry Shortcake cardbacks for all I care, I'm going to open and enjoy good figures.

 :)

I collect everything carded, and loose.

44 VOTC Stormtroopers and 22 evolutions packs say it's not about money for me.

Hasbro has to know that if they did the battle droids right just one time (super and regular) that they could be repainted and resold a billion times over - like clones and stormtroopers.

I would be happy with a 5-pk of the ROTS ones... they really do stand ok in my opinion, at least better than the previous Battle Droids.  Except the Security Droid, that one really stands well.

 :)

For some reason I'm disagreeing with you a lot lately. :)

I can't stand any of the battle droids that have come out so far - they fall off my shelves a few times a week it seems and wont' stand at all unless propped up against something.

If they don't intend on making one with strong, sturdy legs, I hope they don't make one at all - and I certainly hope they don't try to pass us more of the crappy ones.

9414
I agree, I'd rather see them at $6 pricetag as well... but then again, if the only way we'd get ultimate versions of those figures was to pay $10, I'd go ahead and say make them that way.

 :)

Fine then, pay 10 dollars, pay 10 thousand dollars for all I care - just don't put them on freaking vintage Kenner cards.

9415
I'm stuck on 3 loose, 1 carded - can't find them for the life of me.

Well alls I did was post what Amazon said, then after some discussion with a co-worker, I posted the site that he sent me to, both of which were different from what you'd said - so I wanted to see if anyone in the group had anything else to add.

Sheesh.

What? Why argue over something that I made blatantly obvious? It's pointless. As far as this "editing" bull**** defense that has been used WAY too many times; can I not edit a message to get across what I mean to say, without making myself look like a jackass, lowering my debating standards?

If it's a crime, then I'm guilty. My god. I edit messages. Find it hard to believe that anyone even saw, much less remember, what I typed in the ONE MINUTE SPAN in which I posted, edited, then reposted.

But then again, what do I know.

Who's arguing over it?  You just have a little bit of a history of spouting off loudly, then editing down your comments later on.

So, I was wondering if he was saying 'wow' to something more than what I was reading.

What's the big f'n' deal?   ???

Duh, of course you didn't.  Which is why you mock me with my  :)  signature when you don't know.

 :)

I'm pretty sure SFG had dibs on that one.   :-X

Wow.

Was that 'wow' in response to Cory's pre-edit or post-edit remark?

I shared the run time information the same day I learned about it. I don't remember if it was here, but certainly on DVDTalk and KMC, and cleared up the misconceptions there.

Now that I've done it here, let's give it a rest. 1 minute difference, end of discussion.

God forbid someone should look to the forum to discuss a bunch of different numbers that are floating around sites like Freezedried when Cinemaddict himself proclaimed his knowledge of the situation 6 days before the release.
