Title: Plastic Galaxy
Post by: Phrubruh on January 13, 2017, 09:12 AM
Last night I watched on Amazon a documentary called Plastic Galaxy. It about the creation of the original Star Wars vintage line of toys. They talk about the origins of Kenner and how they got the license. Lots of talk from toy designers and some pictures of prototypes that we never got. They go all the way up to the creation of the POTF2 line. Good hour long documentary about our favorite toys.

Sponsored this on Kickstarter back in the day, I think my name is even in the credit roll at the end.

I remember hearing about this awhile back and was always interested in seeing it....then found that it was on Hulu so I gave it a watch this week. Lots of fun to watch, and very nostalgic. Sometimes when I see something like this I wonder why I just don't focus on vintage, so much fun stuff and really where this all stems from.
