The cost for 3 to 4 master cases would be $5.00 total for shipping to me.  So this split 3 or more ways would be peanuts.  However, I would be allowed to mark the items as a gift, so customs hopefully would not be much of a factor.  All in all if you wanted in on the group buy I think you would save at least $20.00.  Also, HLJ could always charge a little more for series 3 as the SRP has gone up slightly on Kubrick's.  BDW, I don't know how we could get your case in on the discount, but if you have any ideas let me know.  You could always email Joel and let him know the situation and say you need to cancel the order.  Then when the group buy goes in we could re-order your case.  The only bad thing about this idea is how we could get Joel the money in one payment.  I do have paypal, but paypal charges fees on payments received, and on a total of $345.00 the fee would be significant.  So basically if you would need to use a credit card for this purchase I don't know how we could go about it.  If anyone has any ideas please share them.  Personally I was just hoping to save a little bit and help everyone else here do the same.  Maybe it will be more trouble than it's worth.  I don't know.  If at least 4 people here wanted a case of 12 we could get a master case for them too, that way one of the four people would be guaranteed the chase piece.

Dale, how much was shipping?  Shipping from BBTS would be $5.00, and I'm pretty sure I could get a master case delivered to Canada for less than $20.00.

Just got the reply from Joel.  $345.00 per master case of series 3 if we bought three to four of them.  So who would be interested?

I just contacted BBTS to see if Joel would give us a discount for multiple master case pre-order's.  So if you were interested in a master case, or even a single case we may be able to save a decent amount of money if we go in together.

The Star Wars series will remain in cases of 12 and master cases of 48.  Reason being is the carded Kubrick's come in cases of 40 and master cases of 120 pieces.  They would never do that to the Star Wars series, and I am glad.  I like a few carded Kubrick's, but it is getting out of hand.  I much prefer opening blind boxes out of a case.  For those interested here is the case assortment per 40 pieces of Batman Animated:

Animated Batman X 9
Batgirl X 6
Harley Quinn X 5
Mr. Freeze X 5
Manbat X 5
Killer Croc X 5
Blight X 3
Terry McGinnis X 2

So if you need a case for a Luke let me know.  As soon as I get the replacements in hand I will hook anyone up with the Luke cases for the cost of shipping only.

Sent you a PM a little while ago Jon.  I'd be happy to relieve you of one of those, if you still have extras.

Nice score on the Sandie.  Did you really nab that for just a Droids R2?  If so, excellent deal man!

BTW, if you've got any details (like error messages) on why you can't get onto JD, let us know and we'll see if we can get it fixed for you.  Can you access the site, or forums, at all?  Is it just a matter of not being able to login to your forum account here to be able to post?  Might have a couple ideas if that's the case.  We were down for a little while this morning, but that's about it.  Hopefully we can fix your problem though, so we can keep hangin' with you here in ye olde Kubrickville!   8)

Yep the deal was a carded Sandie for a carded Droids R2.  I'm pretty sure that Kozik got them for free, so that is why he was willing to make some really good trades on them.  As for what has been going on with me and the site I don't know what the problem has been.  I'll type in the address and I will just wait and wait and it never comes up.  The problem seems to be fixed now, so no biggie.  I actually thought the site was down until I did a google search and saw from the results that the site was still being updated daily, so I knew it wasn't down then.  Also you are the first to ask for a case, so if you need one or both of them we can complete the deal as soon as I get the new cases.  It might be a week or two, but shouldn't be too long.   :)

Are the Oscar cases different for Luke than for R2?  I did not know this :-\

The R2 & the Sandtrooper are identical in bubble size, a good 3/8" more in depth than Luke.  Luke only has about 1/8" to spare in depth when inside the case.   Hope this helps.   :)

Hey everyone, haven't been able to get on jedidefender lately for some odd reason.  I can get to every other site I want to go to with ease, but I haven't been able to get in here since the last time I posted.  Wow, great news for the pre-order from BBTS.  I love dealing with them.  They have hooked me up pretty good in the past with some Matrix, Marvel, & Star Wars series 2 Kubrick's.  I think I'm going for a master case as well.  Cheaper in the long run to buy a complete set with chases, but it's just so much fun to open a few cases of Kubrick's.  So here are some updates on my collection.

I received my carded Sandtrooper from Kozik about a week ago.   ;D
I would like to thank Simon for making that awesome trade possible.

I also received three acrylic cases from Oscar's cases for my carded Kub's.

Bad news is they sent me three cases for a Luke.  So the others won't fit.  The good news is they are making me new ones for no extra cost, and they are letting me keep the others as an apology for sending me the wrong ones.  So if you need a case for a Luke let me know.  As soon as I get the replacements in hand I will hook anyone up with the Luke cases for the cost of shipping only.

In other news I just ordered a Medicom vinyl Fett from Spanky.  I have wanted that thing so bad since I first laid eyes on it.  I got it for approx. $125 plus shipping.  For those who still need an Early Bird set, Spanky has them back in stock for 10,000 yen.  That's a steal IMO.  I guarantee once series 3 comes out the Kubrick hype will be stronger than ever and the prices will go back up.  So it's good to be back, as I have missed talking Star Wars Kub's with everyone here.   Can't wait for series 3 and the TRU Japan boxed set.  :)

Did that Sandtrooper trade come through for you Jon?

It should be here Wednesday or Thursday.  Only bad thing is Frank sent it UPS.  If they crush the box there will be hell to pay.   >:( Needless to say I have had plenty of bad experiences with UPS.  The postal service is the only way to fly.   ;)
