Jesse - you're so sweet. We are in a different situation. We live in a subdivision and our jackhole neighbor across the street has always let his cats run free. The big male prefers to spend the last 8 years hanging out in the flowerbeds in our backyard killing birds and launching sneak attack the kids and the dog. A couple of years ago a stray female came along and they have produced about 5 litters. Guess where they like to live? In everybody's yard but the owners. They are all feral and nasty. We spoke to our neighbor and they basically said they could give a crap about their cat - they only got it for the kids - and the kids are older and don't care anymore. He said they put scraps out for the cats and he would be more than happy to put some anti-freeze in with them. 
The first summer a litter appeared a few of us got traps from the animal shelter and got most of them - but they are like rats - they are everywhere and they are aggressive. They get in our (and our neighbors) garages and one of the little dumbasses jumped on our nextdoor neighbors grill while he was grilling. It just pisses me off that people think it's okay to just let their cats roam free - but we take responsibilty with our dog and had him neutered and keep him in the house, fence or on leash.

Halloween Pet Peeve - people who take their kids out Trick or Treating every year but fail to put/hand out candy. Our whole family goes together and we leave a big bowl on the porch with a cute note - people seem to respect it and only take 2 or 3 pieces b/c there is always a bit of candy left when we get back - then I just dump the reserves in the bowl so people don't ring the bell when we are (trying) to settle the kiddos down for bed. It is the same damn families every year.

We are all collectors. We all have our own styles of collecting. We have, over the years, become friends. Many times, if we disagree with each other, we keep our mouths shut because that is what a polite and considerate person does.
For some reason, you have taken on Force Guy, who has been coming here since 2003, and has over 1100 posts.
This thread, and your attitude, is just a drag. Who knows, maybe you're 15. I don't know. Just lighten up, and be friendly. Life is too short to spend it picking fights.

I was just out of High School when she first went into space. I remember the media coverage surrounder her shuttle flight. She was truly an inspiration to me as a young woman. R.I.P. Sally Ride.

« on: July 20, 2012, 12:11 PM »FINALLY got Comcast hooked up and now have access to AMC! Does anyone know if they reply Walking Dead episodes? I missed all of Season 2 and want to get caught up. I know they had a marathon a few weeks back - anyone know if they have another on the way? I thought someone said Comcast had this On Demand as well, but I don't see it under TV series.
not really sure, but I would hope AMC at least runs another marathon in Oct before season 3 starts Oct 24. Season 1 dvd is out now and season 2 comes out in early/mid Oct as well.
Season 2 DVD is set to release August 28th. If AMC sticks to their usual patterns with their other series, they should run a marathon before Season 3 starts back up.
