Scheich also makes a lot of other trees for those interested.  They're not cheap, but cool as hell

The pic of the one you posted with the Gungan sucks, IMO.

The Hoth set is worth picking up, but the Endor set sucks.

Picked up a couple of figs from Wave 8 at Wal-Mart today: Padme & Destroyer Droid.  Missed out on the McClamtrooper.

I found 2 clean Sandtroopers today at Kohl's.  Naturally, I bought 'em.  Haven't seen waves 7 or 8 yet, not even the remnants.

Sure, but everyone always complains about the price of the PS3 as the reason not to buy one.

"The" reason?  As in, the only reason?  The fact that there ain't **** to play on it doesn't count?

Yeah, but you can play Guitar Hero III on PS3, right?  Therefore, you can gain the prestigious title of "Guitar Hero" on PS3!  Wow!  Just think how impressive that looks on a resume, especially if you do it with the Fender and Gibson controller!  You'll definitely be ready for Rock Band then, right?!?!

Everywhere You Look

What ever happened to predictibility?
The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV.

Everywhere you look , everywhere you go (there's a heart).
There's a heart
A hand to hold onto.

Everywhere you look , everywhere you go.
There's a face
Of somebody who needs you.

Eveywhere you look,
When you're lost out there and you're all alone,
A light is waiting to carry you home,
Everywhere you look.
Everywhere you look.

I do want the Hoth set, but this whole gimmick makes me not really want to even get that now.

Hopefully the "one week only" will apply to the contest only and the Battle Packs will still be available after that.

And

Quote
It makes sense for the contest to only be open to people who bought them during that one week, but not that the items would only be available for 7 days.  I mean, what are they going to do after 7 days if they haven't all sold?

The sky is falling...

No, I have no intentions of battling the crowds on Black Friday.

Watto's Junk Yard / Facial hair and YOU: what's your preference?
« on: October 24, 2007, 06:07 PM »
So what's your preference?  Do you have any facial hair, or do you prefer the clean shaven look?  Are you able to grow any or if you can, does it grow all splotchy?  And women, you're included, too.  How often do you have to wax the 'stache?  Do you like it when a man has facial hair?

A general FYI, I forgot to mention that I found wave 5 remnants at Target yesterday as well.

Targets around here suck major ass.  All they have is Galactic Marines, Death Star Troopers, Rebel Honor Guards, and a few Obi's & R2's mixed in.

Picked up another Biker Scout at Wal-Mart.  Also picked up another Imperial Officer.  Still on the hunt for two more Concept Snowtroopers.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Changing Collecting Habits? NEED ADVICE!
« on: October 20, 2007, 10:46 AM »
There is just far too many figures for me to display - even if my wife would let me.

I guess the first question you need to ask is what will your wife give you permission to display.  Otherwise, whatever else you decide to collect (Kubrick, Galactic Heroes, etc.) will end up collecting dust as well.
