I have cut way back on SW.  I haven't seen much that I really wanted since the Saga line came out.  I would buy every 3 3/4 inch figure before then.  I have the VOTC figures and some of the OTC, but I won't buy any post OTC stuff.  I don't feel the need to have everything any longer.  I won't be buying every ROTS figure, either.  Just the few that I really like.  I'll still collect GI Joe, LOTR and DC stuff the day they stop making Star Wars if those lines are still around then.

And God knows the last thing anyone should have to look at is the bare butt of a Packer fan.  ;)

Get Fuzzy, Fox Trot and The Norm are some of my favorites.

Randy Moss is an idiot.  He never will be a class act.  It's just the way he was brought up.  Most star athletes get the same treatment.  I don't think the mooning was all that bad.  The Packer fans were doing nothing but giving him Hell the whole game.  I saw a few camera shots where it showed him jawing back, and it looked like he was pointing at the scoreboard as if to say "hey, look who is winning."  You could read his lips and tell he used much stronger language, though.  It's not like he gave them the finger.  The Fox announcers and post game reporters are all hypocrites.  They work for a trashy network that puts garbage on the air like "Joe Millionaire", "The Simple Life", Temptation Island" and "Who's Your Daddy?" and yet they have the stones to call Moss classless?  Pot, meet kettle!  They have no right to just criticize him when there are other players like Terrell Owens who act much worse.
I'm just glad to see the Vikes finally playing up to their potential.  I didn't think they had it in them.  They seem to play better when they feel the world is against them.  I hope the networks continue to criticize Randy.  It motivates him.

My prayers go out to those affected.  It's unreal how many have been confirmed dead and it will get worse.  Disease will most likely spread like wildfire.  Hopefully the rest of the world steps up and does what it can to help.  I heard the best thing to do is donate money.

I checked out JLA because Buisek started on it, and I've liked what has been done so far.  It's as good as is was since before Kelly destroyed it.  I really like the CSA.
Some other current books I recommend include Flash, Teen Titans and JSA.  As Nataku mentioned, Geoff Johns really loves the DCU and treats it well.  I wish he were still writing Hawkman.
The only decent Superman title is Superman/Batman.  I wish DC would have given control of Superman to Waid and Morrison when they had the chance.  The Superman titles have been stale for far too long.
Older titles worth checking out are the James Robinson Starman series and Crisis on Infinite Earths.  Crisis is in TPB and most of Starman is.

Last night's episode was really good.  South Park is the nastiest, funniest, craziest show on TV.  I am surprised they are able to play the movie on Comedy Central without getting nailed for it.

We had a dusting of snow in Minneapolis/St Paul.  It was mostly slushy wet stuff, but some of it stayed on the ground.

I heard they were supposed to re release the old figures, so that might be what you saw.  Did the packaging look like the old packaging?

I'll be heading to Target April 5.  I made the mistake of going to a Wal Mart for AOTC and they had a limit of 2 Star Wars items per person.   My fellow collectors and I were very disappointed.  They did not have every assortment, either.  I chose the Count Dooku and the Hanger Duel Anakin, which turned out to be the right choices because I didn't see those figures for a long time afterwards.  I also went to 2 Targets and a TRU that day.  I ended up with all the figures I wanted.  I didn't pick up everything because of the goofy poses and action features.  I left turds like the snap on 3PO, Outlander Ani and the Amidala on the pegs.

Cheeseburger Macaroni is my favorite HH.  It's like eating mac and cheese with meat in it, but better.  The Salisbury Steak version is also good.  I go with the ground Turkey Breast.  It's less fatty.

Anybody buying the comic three packs?  4 and 5 are the best so far IMO.  I'm really looking forward to the Oktober Guard.  The Issue 8 pack looks good, but I'd rather have Flash in his uniform than the space suit version.  We also need Grand Slam and Grunt in their uniforms.
I was able to score an Operation Crimson Sabotage set tonight at the Mall of America KB store.   I had a hunch they'd have them in for Black Friday, and I was right.

I'd rather have more figures.  If Hordak looks good, though, I might pick him up.  Stupid Mattel.
