Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

I was a bit hesitant to buy this because I'm trying to spend any money because my wife and I are hoping to get a house this summer, but I decided shortly before the auction ended to take a stab at this figure.  I just hope I didn't overpay for it.

It's been in the 70's and even 80's the last several weeks in north Texas.  I'd actually like to get a little bit of a winter here.

Hey buddy, I married into a Longhorn family.  I've been a season ticket (football) holder in the past, have UT stickers on the car that have since faded with age, and a closet full of burnt orange.  I guess that's a bandwagon fan.

Sorry pal, the game was what it was.

Oh and who's the real Heisman winner now? Still Reggie Bush.

Who gives a **** who won the Heisman?  Texas won the National Championship.  The final score of the game is all that matters.

Man that was awesome.  My wife and I went nuts when Vince finally got into the endzone.  I was getting a little scared on the next to last play and just prayed the Texas D could keep USC outside the 30 yard line.

Before school starts this morning I'm going to be making a UT national champion poster and stick it on my door.

Vince is a badass and turned it on when needed the most!!

The Rangers finally pulled the trigger and got an excellent starter.  I'm trying to decide if Millwood is a top tier pitcher or not.  He's a number 2 in most rotations, but an ace in Texas.  Nothing seemed to rattle the guy at the press conference yesterday announcing his 5 years $60 million contract...thanks Scott Boras...dumbass.

Anyway, bought time the Rangers finally nailed down a pitcher.  I guess it makes Texas a little more attractive now for Clemens should they decide that they can swing $20 million for him and all of his perks.

Dallas Stars Game!!!  I'll be home well before twelve and I'll just watch whatever or play whatever on PS2 until I feel like going to bed.

Dave's the man.  Quick shipping and great communication on a trade/sale that we had.  Thanks a bunch Dave, the clones are now standing in formation with the rest of mine.

Good point Robert.  That is probably the reason I won't make a big stink about it.  Although I do find it hypocritical that some members are allowed to do it, while others are not.

That said, let me say thanks to the great staff at JD, whom I have traded with most of them now, by letting me keep a site in my signature.  I hope I'm not violating the rules here. ;)

Speaking of RS's rules, I got my signature removed...the same one I have here.  It's been in my name for 2+ years and nobody has said a word until now.  I wasn't actively promoting the other site.  Dustin was also kind enough to stick a copy of the "rules" for signatures and not promoting other sites.

Needless to say, there are others there who are allowed to have a number of SW collecting sites mentioned in their signatures.  I guess PW is now trying to stamp out all competition.

Andy, thanks for the heads up on that.  I was watching it and because I was at the hospital yesterday I couldn't get to my comp in time to get a snipe bid in on it.

I was a bit pissed to say the least.
