Will the Nautolan Jedi Master will be getting his own unique spaceship? It is not yet known if this will be based on the Episode II or Episode III design.
As a Kit fan, I'm excited. I'm predicting an off-the-hook green and black color scheme, on an E2 Starfighter.

Yeah I am kind of surprised Kit is getting his own JediStarfigher. I would have thought Mace Windu would since it was in the Clone Wars cartoon. I can't remember Kit having one? This could be kind of cool. I like Kit for some reason.

I'd love to see some sort of green decoration color on this... with battle scarring. If so, I might pick it up. I passed on the alternate colors of starfighters for Anakin and Obi Wan, but would pick this up... especially if it came with an alternate figure of him.

I already have a ROTS Kit so I don't really care if a figure is packed in or not. I'd prefer a E2 fighter mold, but I don't mind which, since I don't have any Jedi Fighter yet.

If they manufacture it "modified" to "fly" under water ala McGiver-esque, then, I may be interested. I'll likely buy it no matter what it looks like-even if it's red, green and pink ::)

For this one, I think I'll pass.
I've got Obi-Wan's Ep2 Starfighter and the Anakin Yellow and Obi-Wan Red versions of the RotS Starfighter (couldn't decide which I liked better).
I managed to skip the repaints of the Ep2 Starfighter and the repaints of the RotS Starfighter, so I'll pass on Kit's no matter what repainted version it turns out to be.
I guess though, if by some miracle, it is the rare chance that it's all new? Well then I'd buy it. But we all know how likely a new vehicle is... :-\

I'll take it but not sure what the paintjob could be like... The Mace ship would have been nicer though with the purple paintjob. I also vote for a Sae Sae Tinn fighter too which is spotted in the toon I believe... Kit's is ok. Hell I'm dumb enough I'd probably take one for Aylya and others too.

With all the ROTS ships out there, I am guessing this will be an AOTC version similar to Plo's last year.

I spun off the Mace Windu ship talk from Toy Fair since that one is confirmed as a general release...
And, a little birdy told me that even though the Mace ship has been announced, we should still expect to see a Target Exclusive Kit Fisto Jedi Starfighter sometime this year. ;)

I don't have any JS, so I can't test him. But the ROTS Kit has ball-jointed knees, and is SA, so I would assume so.

He might be SA but he cannot sit in the AOTC or the ROTS Jedi fighter. His "skirt" does not allow him to properly sit.

Maybe the topless CW one might fit. I'll find mine and try it later but a topless jedi in a fighter just does not cut it, unless it is a female jedi. :o

Kit's skirt is what I was referring to. Perfectly fine figure otherwise, and I'd buy it again with a softgoods skirt if Hasbro were inclined to do that. A nicer paintjob wouldn't hurt it either, but yeah his skirt is stiff...
Obi Pilot's is cut and made of a better plastic for flexibility. Irony is that Hasbro doesn't always use flexible plastic for skirt pieces when they should (for poseability, not just sitting in a fighter even), while they use overly flexible plastic in weapons when they shouldn't (Amanaman's staff in need of viagara anyone?).

I'm so sick of repaints I could puke. The only repaint I'll be buying this year is the DV black starfighter.

I wonder why they've decided to go with the Aethersprite design with Kit Fisto. Especially when you consider how big the Kit Fisto figures are and how cramped that particular cockpit design is. I had trouble fitting the SAGA Obi-Wan pilot in that particular vehicle. I wonder how difficult it's going to be to get Kit Fisto into this ship.

I don't mind the paintjob myself... I'd passed on Plo's but sort of wish I hadn't. My only gripe with that sculpt is the lacking rear landing gear unfortunately, but the paintjobs have been fairly nice I think. It looks to me mostly like they just switched up Plo's perhaps? My eyes aren't that great though anymore.
It makes sense them using the older model Jedi Starfighter for the production of this though as there's a number of repaints of the ROTS mold in use already, so it's very possible they simply don't have the production capacity to use the newer mold. Personally I'd have preferred the ROTS fighter though, as it is definitely more spacious for Kit and it's also just a better ship mold overall (more accurate in general).

They probably figured they have Mace Windu's Jedifighter and Anakin's Black Jedifighter repaints already. So, they went with the Plo Koon design instead. I would like to have this but it's not anywhere near the top of my list.

I agree. But what's worse is that there are people buying every one of these. I mean, can't Hasbro make a new vehicle instead of repainting the same ones over and over? I mean, think about it:
Episode 2 style Starfighter list
Obi-Wan's SF
Plo Koon's SF
Anakin's CW SF
Kit Fisto's SF
Episode 3 style Starfighter list
Anakin's SF (2 releases)
Obi-Wan's SF (2 releases)
Mace's SF
Vader's SF
EDIT: I forgot Anakin's green SF and Obi-Wan's blue SF. So that adds up to 12 SF releases!

I am so done with Jedi Starfighters. I have the AOTC red, Anakin's CW, and Anakin's and Obi-Wan's from the opening scene of ROTS. That's enough.

If you just need some of the Episode 2 SF mold, then just go on eBay and get some old ones cheap instead of buying these for $20 a pop. :)

The real kick in the sack, is that Kit cannot even fit inside. I like building my fleet but c'mon mix it up a little. How about rehashing stuff in this price point people really want like:
1. AT-ST
2. Geonsian fighter
3. Dewback with new Sandtrooper and an extra rehash of the POTJ version
4. Jabba with Throne dias 9Even though i painted a killer version of the old one. See my customs page link)
5. Tie Interceptor
But lets look at this from Kit's point of view..........
I can see the look on Kit's face when Mace told him about his purple ride and his Purple Clone posse.
Kit had to do something to protect his staus on the council and impress Aayla.
So like an old Impala car, he bought an old Jedi Starfighter and tricked it out.
Take that Windu! He is green and so is his starfighter! Purple my ass.

I am a sucker for ships. So I'll take it. I really like the AOTC fighter and with this one I am that much closer to Rainbow Squadron, just like Rogue Squadron but with force powers and a litter gayer.

Hmmmmmm.... I'm withholding judgment until I see some better pictures. It looks kinda promising, but I wish they'd used the ROTS fighter instead.

The paintjob on this mamojama looks slick as hell to me. I was on the fence but now I'm definitely buying this.
Check out our story on the sneak shots too, it appears this mold isn't getting put away any time soon as another repaint (Tinn's perhaps?) is on its way.

Blech ... avocado green, mustard gold, and orange?? It looks like what the ship would have been painted if Lucas had started with Ep I and AOTC was made in the '70s. Actually, scratch that--the ships in the OT never looked so dated as this (paradoxically).
Usually I am a fan of retro looks, but this color combination on a starfighter doesn't sit well with me at all. Fugly = pass.
Instead of reaching this far for Jedi starfighter repaints, what Hasbro should do is rerelease the aqua Delta-7 from the Clone Wars toyline (http://www.rebelscum.com/CWjedistarfighter.asp) and then do Saesee Tiin's green Eta-2 from season III of the Toon (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Jedi_Starfighter.jpg) (I just checked, and I guess it is different from Anakin's green Eta-2 released earlier (http://www.rebelscum.com/ROTS05TRUfighter.asp)).

I want to get my hands on one of those aqua starfighters, I am nearly giving thought to leaving the hobby but I am slowly getting back into it.
I loved the obi Jedi Starfighter and I got to get an Eta-2 pretty soon. :)

you know whats weird: i have no real love for the ships/tanks. but my wife questions why i don't like them? and even goes as far as to say that she thinks i should get them, and still i don't. that's weird. almost as weird as releasing a starfighter that has never been depictited before one that was i.e Saesee Tiin,asajj ventress,darth maul......

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! So basically Hasbro totally ******* up the compatibility of a vehicle to a figure is our fault for not pushing harder?
I remember they tried that excuse a few years ago with the fiasco that was the Anakin and (particularly) Zam Airspeeders, saying that the figures do fit, but you just kind of have to force them in there, and even then it's not a good fit.
It's this type of thinking that is alienating people who collect this line. If you can't make something compatible with the rest of the line, and particularly if you can't make a ship compatible with a singular character whose name is attached to the vehicle to begin with, then don't make the vehicle. I doubt that anyone was really clamoring for the Snot Rocket to begin with, so the fact that an unrequested vehicle that wasn't even in the films OR the cartoon series from which it is allegedly drawn was made with no figure compatibility whatsoever, AND Hasbro refuses to admit blame for the noncompatibility issues makes this vehicle one of the more ridiculous failures of concept in many years.

I was able to make Fisto sit in his fighter. I had to pop his head of 1st but he fits. Of course even a Jedi needs his head.

That is exactly why I said that Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter should have really been an Eta-2 and not a Delta-7. So he could fit in and sit in it. I also think there should really be more Eta-2 repaints than Delta-7 repaints.

Yeah, I asked that one. Eventually I figured a way to get the ROTS Kit Fisto to fit. You have to fold the back part of the tunic skirt up and keep it in place with the head tails. But what Hasbro probably didn't figure on is this: There is so little give in fitting the figure like this into the cockpit that invariably the head tails are going to damage the sticker that's on the seatback. Oh well. ::)

Haven't tried putting a Fisto in the ship myself, but I did notice the one in the fighter in the picture on the box. They didt it, I supose we can to.:P

I just picked up one of these Fighters at Target last night for $13.98!!! Havent put the labels on it yet. But it does look good out of the box so far.

i havnt bought it yet, but shirtless kit HAS fit in the AOTC obi and ROTS plo's starfighters before (at least for me) so id assume that he can fit in this one.

I picked up one of these for $14 tonight. There were still three on the shelves when I left, but were greatly reduced from the amount of 20 or so last week.

Maybe the inside of the cockpit should have been just like Anakin Skywalker's Clone Wars Jedi Starfighter (The blue one). The ROTS Kit Fisto fit inside that Jedi Starfighter perfectly.
