Title: How did you spend your May the fourth?
Post by: Blaster under the pillow on May 7, 2012, 06:21 AM
Just wondered if any of you guys commemorated the day in any way? I watched an episode of droids, followed by a Revenge of the Sith/New Hope double bill and finally entered the world of online collecting... my card got a serious work out... hope you all had a good one...

No...I just have a bunch of co-workers who like to harrass/tease me about it....Nothing special...never has been.  It's all a marketing ploy by Hallmark!

A friend of mine got married May 4th. We are making him Star Wars pillows (Chewbacca and R2) for wedding presents. As for myself, I pulled out my VHS copy of ANH.

Not necessarily on purpose, but I ended up watching A New Hope with my daughter because she asked too.  She got a big kick out of the whole "May the Fourth Be With You" stuff, so it was a fun day for that.  Played some Galactic Heroes with her as well :).
