This thread feels way familiar, so I'm sorry if I started it once before years ago (but the search engine still sucks). 

I'm very curious what kind of problems guys have with shipping stuff to Canada?  I see this a lot on various boards and certainly on ebay, to the point where US sellers have even blocked me from bidding because I reside in Canada (yet have a US address for delivery through a friend).  I'm certainly aware of some horrendous delays in stuff getting here, thanks to our craptastic system but in all my dealings I've never actually had anything go missing going from here to south and only had some dubious incidents of things going missing from there to here (can you say scammed, yeah, me too). 

So what are the huge hassles?  Are they real, or are there a bunch of Canadian scam artists ruining it for the rest of us?  I know of a couple of guys that have done that in the past but I also know of guys in the US scamming as well.  Lack of tracking?  What gives, why you hate on Canada mon? 

Looks like the premium format is confirmed (maybe it was before, I'm not so much for the details in advance).  Sideshow still has the teaser photo up but cooltoyreview has got a picture of the full statue up here.

I'd been really hoping for the iconic pose from the streets of cairo with the gun in one hand, whip in the other.  This is nice and I like that they worked the idol into it (I thought it would be included with the exclusive version instead) but the pose is kinda blase and doesn't seem nearly as iconic as it could have been.  It's just sorta there.  I mean I really don't recall Indy standing still with the idol in his hand, so a static pose like this just doesn't seem relevant. 

I'm not sure if I'll opt in on this piece or not.

This question came to mind today when I saw the GI Joe carded figures for the first time at Walmart.  Ignoring for a moment that this appears to be wave 5 yet is the first to arrive, when I looked at them I couldn't help but notice a similarity of sorts to the vintage Star Wars cards and their most modern counterpart, the POTF2 bubbles/cards.  I have to say, this is easily my favorite look as it's so clean and simple.  I really dig the card being mostly bare and graphics easy to see.  They weren't overly cluttered either with a bunch of stuff, just simple.  And the simple, small bubble holding the figure and a few accessories was very visually appealing to me. 

I couldn't help but think I'd really like to see that style of cardback/bubble make a comeback.  Yup, it would largely mean the end of pack-ins like stands or larger accessories (Yoda/Kybuck would be impossible) or heaven forbid, coins (wait, they did that in POTF) but I think I could live with that.  What about you, what combination was your favorite?

Received an email notice that GG is sending out the PG gift(s) within the next week or so.  I still don't have a clue what that entails so I guess it'll be an interesting "surprise".  Not as cool as the Clone Commanders busts, but hey, maybe it'll still be something cool.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is the best area for the question/thread, but it seems to be pretty broadly based and active, so I stuck it here.  Move it if need be.

As the title states, is there a list around anywhere that lists Hasbro released figures by movie they came from.  Yes, I can figure them out myself but in my ongoing trend towards downsizing of sorts, I'm trying to figure out what figures I'd really like to keep.  So in thinking of Luke Skywalker from the first movie, how many different modern Tatooine Luke figures do we have?  I'm wondering if I can get away with one, because I know there's probably a dozen of them out there in the modern era. 

Anyone ever approach their lists of figures in this fashion?  It seems like quite a task.
