Early news from NYCC -

Star Wars Resistance characters leap from screen to Hasbro action figures

Single figures = $8; two packs (Pilot w/Droid) = $13.

Commander Pyre looks interesting.  I guess these Stormtrooper officers get some pretty slick armor - Pyre's is gold, Phasma has chrome.  I have to wonder if this will be a recurring theme throughout the First Order?

Aside from the usual "i wish they weren't lowPOA" stuff, I think they look good.  I really like that new Bucket droid character.  Not sure why an astromech needs a helmet, but it's fun.  Hope the funky alien mechanic (Neeku) and the Rodian pilot (Hype Fazon) get figures too.

At this point, it's only a matter of time before the First Order Stormtroopers get the multi-color Clone Trooper treatment too.  501st Legion must still be out there somewhere :P

As someone who always likes everything this is no surprise that I like them. I like the look. I hope the show is good

These look pretty good, and I enjoy the brightness/colorful figures. I really do hope the show and toys are a hit with kids. I'm not sure if I'll. Be picking them up, as I narrow my focus, but I hope they are a hit.

It's no surprise that these figures would get revealed today.  Especially since there's a RESISTANCE panel scheduled for NY Comic Con.  The one thing I was surprised that we didn't see?  Vehicles.  These racer/fighters seem like such a central point of the show that I was expecting to see one or two of those vehicles in the line right from the start.  Hopefully that will change soon.

Interesting/weird side note?  One of the droids in the most recent video looked strikingly like a droid that was in KOTOR.  It actually looked a little like Bucket but with coverings, IIRC.

I really like all the helmets...  and the droid.  So I’ll buy the 2-pack and on clearance may pick up others.  Otherwise it’s just not my bag since none fit with the rest of the line.  I dig the colors and things tho and the designs of the characters so far.  I think this show might be fun despite all the fanboy complaints it’s getting.

Yeah I'd probably be all in on these had I bought the Clone Wars and Rebels figures. Like Jesse, I'll likely pick up the 2 pack with the stripped down Astromech and nothing else

I'm more interested in the figures than the show right now. These look pretty nice and will blend nicely with the Rebels stuff. Given Hasbros history, probably not going to be a very big line for these either.

I'm assuming it has to do with them having to focus on the movie, TV show, and game at this point...  Probably just stretched too thin.
