I just thought about this - yeah a softgoods scarf/hat thingy would be great, so if you hang him from the wampa ice cave, it can naturally fall instead of having the peg in hole twist down feature.  Also, and I may get flak for this, but I think they could put in a swappable hand for him.  It will still be a gloved hand, reaching (like he does for the saber in the cave), and swappable below the wrist/glove (so that it could still have SA style articulation built into the actual wrist), but it could have that old AOTC magnet feature built in, and he could come with a metal saber hilt.  If anyone deserved to have that "force pull saber" feature, it's Hoth Luke - the first person we ever get to see use that trick.  Plus if they make it an alternate hand, it won't make everyone mad, since they can still have a normal hand on him at all other times.

This was the only luke I had growing up (I had boussh and endor leia, and bespin, and eventually Endor, Han), so he was one of my favorites.  Then again, my parents pulled the wool over my eyes and told me the B-wing Pilot I had was a Luke Pilot figure, so I had what I thought was a second luke, but this one still was my go-to Luke for all non flying missions.

Its so funny that people had a problem with this.  I remember even watching Empire in the theater in 97 thinking the Jacket was blue.  Of course the figure had something to do with it, but honestly, in the whited out series of Hoth outdoor shots, it ALWAYS looked blue to me (ok maybe not Hoth Han figure blue, but a dark blue - that was probably our eyes adjusting to our retinas burning out in the dark theater).  Even inside, I just took the darkened "brown" to be the shadows playing off of things.   
I was at C4.  I know its a brown jacket.  But even watching it today, I always see it as Blue (especially in those outdoor shots - and knowing that his bespin jacket is blue as well).  Besides screen accuracy, I never saw the point in everyone arguing about it. 
ANYWAY...
I never had hoth Han (funny, since the only Luke I had was Hoth Luke), but my friends did, and I loved using him to cut open the Tauntaun belly and save Luke from the Wampa.

I'm not going into how much I have always loved the fett, mostly because the action figure was so cool (and probably because I never had one).  But I do love both of these figs, as well as the ROTJ deco Vintage one as well.   There really doesn't need to be a lot done to this fig - I'd call it a done deal, unless of course they want to do one in a vintage paint job.  This should be the go-to model for all realistic male mandos of average build (such as we're getting with Jodo Kast).

Maybe not best, but I wouldn't say worst...alright, I'll give you the face is bad, and this is the first time I actually realized that the black was actually the goggles...but whatever.  I didn't even have this figure - my parents talked me into believing for years that my B-Wing Pilot was actually a Luke Pilot.

Blast it, now I'm gonna have to hunt down a few of those black POTF droids.

I love that everyone is upset about the DSD vintage figure - I liked him fine.  He was a nice addition to my droid army of 3PO, R2, 8D8 and IG88...I'm pretty sure those were the only droids I had...though as my parents got me mostly figs that were clearanced out for like a buck each (including a Wampa without a box), it is probably a wonder I didn't have two or more DSD's.  Still, DSD got plenty of playing time at my house, and he's probably still there somewhere (albeit a bit worse for the wear, I suppose).

See for the R2, I could see them doing a small LED and battery inside the body, then making the dome out of a painted translucent blue plastic, which has a part sitting right on the LED...that way if you press a button or something, the light goes up the plastic and out the eye, which is obviously left unpainted.

A Jawa and 3po could probably be done the same way - you just may not be able to have waist articulation (or at least not much) due to fitting the stuff inside the torso.

As I said previously with the Blue Snags, I thought this was a rendition of Hrcheck Kal'fas...mostly because I'm fairly certain there's a tall Saurin (Kal'fas' species) and a short one, and they were just making the two different ones.  Also, I didn't pay too much attention to the costume, cuz, well, Greedo and Hammerhead aren't really wearing the correct outfits either.  I figured they just wanted a blue and red one so you had to buy one more figure.

Is it just me, or would you guys rather buy a hasbro rehash of the vintage blue snaggs than get the modern released one?  I just never cared for the modern mold (or the alien in general), but I love the vintage blue snaggs.  Never had him, never really wanted him, but he is cool, I must admit.

Funny enough, growing up and even til about 12 years ago, I thought he was actually a blue suited Sai'torr or Hrchek Kal Fas, not the Zutton alien.

See, I for one don't mind the ithorians - like Jesse said - there's bad apples in every bunch.  Need proof? Two words - Moomo brothers.  They may have been bumbling, but they were definitely (in their own minds, at least) BA Bounty Hunters.  In fact, I kinda want to make customs of them now.   To me, the peaceful part of Momaw Nadon reflects what I see in the Cantina.  He's not beating people up (though I have no doubt he could), he's just chillin, havin a Bud.  That works for me.

As for the sculpt, yeah, I like the Saga Momaw, I just wish he could sit.  I honestly hope Hasbro does some remodeling to his knees, maybe for a battle pack of cantina patrons we don't have yet, or something with tables, chairs, and the still (center) part of the bar.   Honestly, how hard can it be to connect some piping to a bunch of repainted IG88 Heads?  Maybe even give us the droid detector for the bar, since the first one came with the Wuher, and probably won't be coming with the updated one (wasn't there a rumor he was going to be updated soon?).
