Aw man some of those are torturing me. Please get better sized clearer pics so I can make out what you did on the mandos. I think I'm going to like them :)

i have a few wip imperial commando heads...im sculpting them from clone heads though...as they are the only removable helmets i have for clones/troopers...i have one finished which is for my commander (of the 802nd tears of blood legion)...it is one of the vents going up the nose of the helmet... but it is painted in my legions colours...dark red with arrows coming from under the eyes to the cheeks (the tears of blood) almost identical to the captain argos paint...i have my own ic sculpt aswell...designed and in production...as soon as its finished i'll get some pics and ive started work on removable rots style clone pilot helmets...so i'll probably put them here aswell...andi will try very hard to get well sized pictures this time...right so im off to finishe the paint on those helmets and take the pics...should be up tonight

The Jawa Jedi seems really cool... very good idea there.  Kinda reminds me of a Noghri for some reason?

I like the Idea of the Jawa Jedi as well. I might have to borrow
this concept, except use it for a sith.

Good work, keep it up.

thanks fritz...ok...my first attempts at wax casting have began...ive started with a general greivous head...mainly because i want to make a small kaleesh army...but its a bit more detailed than i thought...any tips would be great...im using household equipment and green stuff so my casting is very rudimentary...my greens of the greivous head will be up soon....advise please...thanks everyone

I too would love to see clearer pictures if at all possible -- the graininess is hurting my eyes!  :(  From what I can see, though the Jawa Jedi looks pretty neat, and it's certainly a very original idea for a Jedi.  However, he doesn't seem to have much of a neck from what I can see.  A taller hood, perhaps?  What parts are you using for the li'l fellow?

its a ep 2 dooku battle yoda with a new head scuplted on....and i agree with the head...i was thinking about it last night and i might well be adding a better layer to the hood...it looks a bit flat on the outside...thanks for the observation
Title: Re: master brisk's customs...finally a photo update!
Post by: Brisk Arper on December 13, 2006, 02:02 PM
hey everyone...its been a while for me to post on here...but the new digital i bought has promted me to try again...last time i posted a pic was july...and my camera was well....lets not mince word...the camera sucked...but im trying again...here goes...we got cal skirata (for the upcoming pn im working on Death: a practitioners tale) we have my jedi master with the 802nd clone legion and my finished jawa jedi...with improved hood!

first up...my jedi master
(http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h129/britton_03/DSCF1515.jpg)

simple really...the recipe is

repainted clone head
mace windu's lightsabre

next up...my jedi master with a unit of 802nd

and my kal skirata....this is a pic from my pn...so be warned...it may be bad!

on a pilot jango body
with police force legs
and one arm is from kamino jango

Hey that life sized armor set is great! You know now that I might have to do a custom of you in your armor lol! Keep up the good work :D

EDIT: BTW, thanks for that site. I'm finding lots of cool color combos for future mando customs

Post by: Brisk Arper on July 2, 2007, 01:15 PM
cheers guys...i thought youd like the mercs forum korbra....just a hunch ya know lol...anyway i have a no pictures update...i have been working on some legacy period figures...my favorites are the two imp officers i made today...one is Oron Jaeger the 501st commanding officer and highest ranking officer on Bastion...the second is a randon imp officer...judging by his uniform he'd have to be high ranking military (legionary or fleet officer) i'll probably make him my fleets admiral....my photonovel is still progressing slowly....im going to make a giant leap with it though.....let me just say that these legacy figures do have a USE IN THE FUTURE.
Title: Re: master brisk's customs

sorry about the mess in the background by the way...i was packing to move home (for the third time in 4 weeks) when i took this photo...my home finding problems have now been resolved and i should be able to find some time to post up the rest of my imps!....let me know what you think? thank you.
Title: Re: master brisk's customs
Post by: jedistyle on July 13, 2007, 08:16 PM
nice looking imp officers. what did you use for the collar armor?
Title: Re: master brisk's customs
Post by: Brisk Arper on July 14, 2007, 12:37 PM
the collars are acctually part of the unoform...in real life i guess they would be leather or a black cloth...these are sculpted from scratch...using green stuff and time lol (plus i had to make the mace windu head ball jointed my firts ever post to bal joint conversion btw....oh yeash show me some love lol) yeah i had a blast making these...i have a few more planned...and i am currently ammassing a small imperial army from the new stormies...they rule...but ive had to swap out loads of the heads...the stormies "may" be clones in ep 4-5-6 but i they deffinatly arnt in the legacy time line....see the legacy comic noob...i havnt personally read this issue...but i know it is about a stormie who is fresh out of training and is NOT a clone...and neither are the rest of his unit...that has always been my vision of star wars...i cant see why the empire wouldnt begin recruiting...clones have shorter life spans and are simply impracticle for running an empire...perfect for the clone wars as they were needed in a hurry and the wars didnt last too long...but galactic protection would be a lot easier for inducted men and not clones....lol rant over...any comments would be cool...and id love to see anyone elses legacy customs...i havnt seen many! cheers guys see you around.

Title: Re: master brisk's customs
Post by: Brisk Arper on July 15, 2007, 06:04 PM
there isnt much differende is there...i know the stomach plates are different but the only real difference is their weaopns...which i will be moding
Title: Re: master brisk's customs
Post by: Brisk Arper on July 26, 2007, 11:02 AM

captains recipe:-
vtac han head
vtac stormie lower arms and lower legs
vtac death star trooper body
comic pack a'sharad hett scarf

Post by: Brisk Arper on November 22, 2007, 07:46 AM
oh, and this wasnt an original idea by the way, i think i saw phruby do something similar and just changed it up a bit, his wasAMAZING, and it was a sandtrooper officer!
Title: Re: master brisk's customs (self custom just posted!!!)
Post by: Brisk Arper on November 22, 2007, 01:00 PM
this is my custom of myself in my beskar'gam, i originally made this figure with a 300th boba...but i recently picked up a votc boba and though YES..THATS MY CUSTOM lol...so i did a little bit of work, sculpted a new neck post for the head i chose (it looks like me VERY little, but the hair is about right lol)

so i give you:-

Brisk ka'ra (pronounced kay'rar) mandalorian supercommando sniper and cuy'val'dar, trainer of the 802nd legion of the GAR

the picture is pretty bad cause my cam blew up on me so im using my old one...but my photography skills in this scale have improved conciderably since i last posted pics on here from it lol:-

finnally i have some progress!!!!

ive been swamped down with commicsions and college work as well as my TA training....and internet going on the fritz every chance it got lol....but i only have one commision left.....im hoping he'll see this acctually...my e-mails are still on the fritz so i cant contact him...but he found me on here so i kinda hope he's looking lol.....anyhow...moving on....

my empirial army is looking good guys...i have 3 squads of 5, a leutenant and a captain to lead them, a staff sergeant for training them and im imperial agent for keeping them in line (think 40k commisar) arial support i have a reconditioned LAAT and a Tie interceptor and i have a hq building in the offing....i have the first half of my phot novel ready for photoshoping (at last) now i have to start on the rebel's for my empire to fight lol...(its set very early during the rise of the empire so the rebel's wont look like the rebels we know...think rag tag malitia ( think star wars rebeliion the comic)  so yeah...it will be easier to make rebel's that way....any figure can be a rebel then lol as long as it isnt to obvious lol
