I like how he appears to be lurking in the background of a sporting event.

"Then he took us in the house and served us pancakes."

LMAO!   Cripes, I had forgotten all about that skit.   ;D

Anyone seeing Jean Grey, Vision, Sunfire and Warpath? I've never seen them and am a little concerned. I want one of each of them and haven't seen any of them as yet. Any help acquiring these would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen them all a couple times, Warpath the most.  For some reason I passed on Jean, I just didn't love the likeness all that much.  I actually thought repainting a Carol Danvers was a better option.  All my sightings were at TRU and Target.

I have only seen them once at WalMart in Tomah, WI and remnants at a WalMart near me.  My Targets have not moved past the Wal-Mart wave and I haven't seen TRU get anything new in several months.  I actually ended up buying my vision from a comic site - was a little worried about the paint job I'd get, but it was fantastic.  I passed on Jean as well because it's a crummy lookin' figure.

So I got my Brown Hair Farmboy Luke in the mail today and I smell a rat. Help me out here...

The face coloring does not match the skin coloring of the neck or hands AT ALL. It's not even close...the face is pink and the other parts are like a pale yellow. Both pieces, independent of each other, appear to be authentic. But they clearly do not match. Is this typical of some kind of foreign knock-off, or did someone pull some kind of fishy head swap?

I've seen other versions where everything matched and they looked much better. I'm thinking I should probably try for a return...

Hard to say without seeing it, but that does sound fishy.  The skin tones on mine are no different between head and rest of the body.

I think I asked this about the BMF - but provided everything pans out and this thing is an awesome beast...are you guys planning on getting rid of your old vintage/potf2/tsc versions?  I'd like to at least hold on to one for old times sakes especially since I never owned any version of that old school mold until 2002.

I built that diorama shelf in my room to hold a hoth battle with two POTF2 AT-ATs...I don't think a new one will even fit in there, so I'm reluctant to upgrade at this point.  I'm actually hoping it's not all that different from the last one given the possible $99 price point.

Maybe not as hard as you might think.  I've seen & heard reports of these hitting multiple nearby Target stores, so that's a good place to start.

The shipping was free, and I saw Hawkeye and got all hot and bothered.

I can wait for retail too I guess, it'll probably be 1-2 weeks but I must have found 20 of every other comic pack anyhow.

We wait!

A fellow Hawkeye fanatic?  We're not logging in from the same IP are we Dressel?  Freaky.  Thanks again for the offer - I will keep you posted if I find extra.  Thought my comic subscription place might have them in as pre-orders by now, but no sign of them yet.   :P  Good to hear they're already hitting Target - thanks Neal!

Most of you guys here cheer for teams that have won a Super Bowl, let alone two or three or five.  Maybe Eagles fans know the pain and suffering of what it is like to have a perrenial winning franchise that just cannot get over that hump.

As a Bucs fan I know what it's like... the thing that sucks though, is when you finally do win one the fans (at least in Tampa) started to act like Superbowls grow on trees... they ran Gruden, the best coach in franchise history, right out of town 5 years later... there were some down years, mostly because of salary cap issues, but he still managed to win another pair of division titles (3 total in his 6  years)... but patience all but disappeared.  Tampa fans became fickle, and embarrassing.

And now we've got Raheem the Dream Morris and a 3-13 team.  A team Gruden won 9 games with last year.

MN probably won't be viewed the same way if they win.  Running Childress out of town might actually lead to more SBs down the road.

Biographer Rebecca Keegan writes in her just-published The Life and Films of James Cameron that he "emerged seething after seeing Star Wars: somebody had made his movie. 'That's when I got busy,'" he told Keegan. From daydreaming movie plots while working as a lunch truck driver, Cameron made his leap into the film business.

Riiiiight.

Douche.

Cameron is a fool.  Everyone knows that Lucas stole the idea for Star Wars from ME.

Thanks to Matt for prompt payment on the Joker Squad and for helping me out with a set of Target 2-packs.  Unfortunately, I think I forgot the 2-packs in your truck.   :-\

The 2-packs have landed!  Thanks for hauling these around all month and bringing them out last night!
