Yeah, I saw that at a Walmart over the weekend in Scotia, New York (that's upstate, since you aren't from the "colonies").

Per the otheR Site, Hasbro has confirmed what we already knew that it'll be available at Gamestop at midnight on the 15th here in the States.

Anyone see the Clone Wars wave yet?  I've been seeing lots of the first couple waves, but nothing new here in NY.  And I'm kicking myself on that because I bought Maul and Chewie off ebay, when I could've waited and gotten them at WM.  Darn.

I was at the mall over the weekend and someone "special" had parked his Aston Martin in the beginning of the firelane, next to the last parking spot.  Now I get that you make a lot of money and can afford an AM, but why you don't have to park in a normal spot like everyone else....  Some complaint about all the idiots who either sit right in front of the doors to a store while their spouse shops for like a half hour, or they themselves "just run in for a second"...  I think if a car is parked illegally for more than 30 seconds it should be legal to dent the fenders.

That and when the normal flow of traffic is 70 mph+, but when it rains everyone goes 50mph.  Its really not raining that hard, and if you are having trouble, move to the right, don't just sit in the left lane going 50 in a 55!

I was at FYE (a music/dvd type store, I think they are mostly in the northeast) over the weekend and they had some 30AC on sale.  I got a couple of the Rebel Honor Guard and a couple Death Star Trooper for $4 each.  They also had pilot Biggs, but he wasn't as interesting.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Questions for Hasbro?

Now that Hasbro has released the Clone and Droid Battlefront sets.  What are the chances we'll see sets featuring the Rebel and Imperial factions from the game?

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Clone Wars Figure Rumors/Speculation
« on: August 29, 2008, 11:15 AM »
Anyone think we'll see a repaint of the already release R2-D2 as R2-KT?  A lot of JDers caught a droid that looked an awful lot like the 501st tribute/Make a Wish tribute figure in the Movie.

Evolution of the Commandos - I see this one having an ARC Trooper (Advanced Recon Commando), a Republic Commando, and an Endor Rebel Commando.

Or the Shadow Stormtrooper for the 30AC line, and I think it was a TSC fanclub exclusive, right?

TV-9D9 / Re: Clone Wars Movie Reviews - SPOILER Thread

This might be a little, ok lot, of a stretch but something happened like that in the US.  During the Civil war a lot of guys were promoted very fast up the ranks, I think Custer was the youngest general ever, age 23, at the end of the war he was a Major General.  When he joined the Army after the war he was a Lt. Colonel.

So maybe they'll explain this away by saying the Army of the Republic was disbanded after the Clone Wars, and Yularren lost his Flag, and then he worked his way back up in the Imperial Army.

Like I said, a stretch.

Next to the non-animated figures he'd just look anorexic.

I never got a Cmdr Cody, but looking at the prices he gets on Ebay today, I'm not sure I will.  I regularly see him over $10-$15 w/o shipping.  Man.  Guess I'll keep waiting, and hope that Hasbro resculpts.

When Sex & the City came out my Wife and I went to see it.  So I guess I was the one out of the place in that theater.  Though about half of the people there were well over 70, so I guess I wasn't the only one out of place...
