Just curious. If I buy a house because it has (what could be) the most kickass Star Wars room in existence.....

Should I add that to my total?  :)

Yeah, I'd say you should add that in here Josh, even if it's only an indirect cost...

You can just pro-rate the total cost of the house against the "Star Wars room's" square footage as a percentage of the total square footage of the entire house.

So, did you take a picture of said room?  Are you actually house hunting right now?

Count me in as another one who's house hunting.  We saw a very affordable 3 bedroom fixer upper with a full finished basement yesterday and we're going to make an offer today.  I hope we get it because I have grand plans for that basement ;)

I actually did take some pictures I could probably post (does this belong in the "house" thread now or something?).

But yeah, this room is only about 16&16 or so, but then it has 5 or 6 closets, each with shelves. It would fit my whole collection and then my other figure collections too.  :)

Year to Date Total: $3727.39

and you haven't even added the AT-AT yet!!

I'm at $534.97 right now.  I haven't added in any props yet as they have not been charged to my card.

Yeah, I'm estimating around $8,000 for the year, maybe $10,000. God I hope not 10....  :o

Ok, I was kidding.

Do not count your house or any part thereof, regardless of where you store your star wars items.

Do not count shelving, how you display your figures is up to you.

Count only the collectible items and any associated costs.  If you buy something sealed in a plexiglass case and you have to pay for the case, count it, otherwise don't :-*

No; but if you buy the Star Wars Hummer, you can count that :)

Ferrari itself, no.  Custom Vader paint job from an after market shop, yes :)

Haven't visited this thread, since ya'll make me sick.  ;D

I made my first purchases of 2004! Found the Jabba's Palace Luke (which is just sweet), R1G4 (cool), and finally caved and bought my first Unleashed - Boba Fett.

Unleashed
Boba Fett

3 3/4th
Luke Skywalker - Jabba's Palace
R1G4

Total so far : $26

I'm going to be adding most of the newer figures to my list as soon as I find them... But that could be 2005.

Eeeesh, February isn't even over yet, and I'm already over $4000. Hopefully things will tone down for a while now though.
