I'm glad there has been a spike in interest lately. But I'm going to bring this up once again, who here is actually going? I need a list of everyone who is going to be at Celebration IV FOR SURE. No wishy-washy answers. They don't help me at all. You are either 100% sure you are going, or you aren't. If we don't have enough people going we are going to need to cancel.
That being said I need a list of who is going. Tell me when you arrive, when you leave, how many days you will actually be at the convention. And how many hours you will be willing to work the booth. Don't commit to hours now that you'll want to change later. We need to make a schedule to determine whether or not we have enough people to staff a booth, before we get any farther on this project.
Here is what I have so far:
All five days:
-Ryan
-Arrive Tuesday the 22nd and leave Tuesday the 29th
-Can only work an hour a day tops
-Can setup and take down
-Phruby
A few days:
-Brent
-Saturday and Sunday
Not going to be able to make it:
-Chewie
-Daigo-bah
-PenDragon
-CloneCommander1
-DarthEnnis

You got me listed Ryan. However, I'm going with my son (only 8 years old). So its going to be difficult for me to stay at the booth for hours on end with him just hanging out. You can count on me for several hours scattered over the weekend but I can't guarantee long stretches of time. I'd say 2 hours per day tops.

If we can put this in Nuib Nuib's area, which is looking quite possible, then we might be able to not have the booth permenantly manned and we might have some flexibility on set-up and take down.

That's a very good point Brent. Even if we can't staff the booth full time, it still would be nice to have people there occasionally to help Frank and his crew out some, if it is at all like C3 they will need it.

I'll be there Sat, Sun and Mon. possibly :-\ If my dad earns enough frequent flier miles, and my grades are good, I'm there.
And If I go I'll be helping out Frank for several hours aswell, It looks like a excellant project, and they will definately need help :P

I can sleep on the floor as long as it is not a motel 6. At C3 I was there by the airport. I will never make that mistake again. I guess the motel 6s are a bit scumier in the US than in Canada. I ended up at the comfort inn on the third night. What a breath of fresh air that was.

Thanks to 911 I got to renew my passport. It just expired in june. If I don't get that done all bets are off

I should get my passport in time. Money is the only thing I got to work on
Hotel and Weekend pass are taken care Now it's flight and spending money.

Paul and I have been talking, I'm planning to help set up. Haven't decided if I can or want to be there all five days yet though.
BTW, my door is open for anyone who want's to save on a hotel room.

Famine WILL be there, and is available to lend a hand if needed, but mostly I'll be following Ryan around like a sick puppy. ::)

I'll be there for setup but other than that I can't really be there the rest of the weekend.

I'll be at C4 on Saturday and Sunday only. I'll have my 8 year old son with me. I'd be happy to "man" the booth for short periods of time but I really don't think he'll have the tolerance to stay there for long stretches and he's not quite old enough for me to trust to go off on his own.

Just know that when I was at C 3 with Niub, there were a lot of Dios on display. There was always somebody there. To some extent one could say that the awe factor of these dios alone was kind of a form of security. No body would dare touch anything while others fans would frown on those who would touch anything. I will be in the area most of the time (Thurs to Sunday) and so wil my daddy. He is big and strong and he can beat up your daddy!

It's official, I bought my 4 day pass. Not sure how I did it since I bought it yesterday and the deadline was last Friday. ???
Anyway, will make arrangements to be there for set up day. Doubt I can be there Friday before 5PM, but can volunteer Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
