Well, that little experience sure did suck!
After the site didn't allow me to log in at 8:00 I tried for about eight minutes then just gave up and went to the official site. The SDCC site had a link to the ticket site and I went right in but I was about the2700Th person in line. by the time I was able to get in to buy the tickets all but Thursday and Sunday were left, Then I tried to get my wife's and Thursday was sold out in the short time I was paying for mine.

Holy **** dude... I didn't even realize these went on sale again already. What a mess that show's become. Seriously it's really almost too big it seems.
-
The only ones able to purchase tickets to the 2013 con were the ones that were registered to buy the 2012 tickets :-\ :P ???. I don't know if an advanced warning was given to the general population since they were not able to purchase tickets, I'm sure the SDCC comity didn't want those email, phone calls and threats. There might be a chance for future ticket sales later but even then, to whom are they going to sell the remaining few?. Exhibitors, professionals and press passed are still not for sale, those will be sold next year.

There will be a chance to purchase returned tickets later this month.

Hope you land some man.

I think im just going to get the PRO badge this year.
-
What's that entail? Much better?
-
Nope, just free and it comes with preview night. I get them from the San Diego Star Wars Society, we have a club table and a panel with a game we play every year.
-
Nice man, keep me updated! :)

I do have tickets for SDCC this year but I thought the recent WonderCon was a lot better. It was less crowed and parking was easy thanks to Disneyland. I actually got to talk to artists, play some games and see some panels without camping out all day. I think next year I'm going to skip SDCC and just go to WonderCon. It's just a better experience all the way around.

I get a lot of feedback on SDCC that it's outgrowing itself... Seems to be a growing theme, haha.

They are going to make the convention center bigger and hopefully kick out some of the big movie companies to make room for real comics.
-
That's a good sign for the show... It's going to be tough prying the commercialism from it though. It seems like such a chore to be a fan and attend it now. You know that better than many though Solrac, but I know a few people who don't go anymore because of the crowds and stuff.

The thing is a frigg'n circus. You can't even get any of the hasbro exclusives without a four day pass and camping out early in the morning. That is just wrong.

Well, the Twilight kids won't be camping out there anymore. That's SOMETHING positive.
-
Finally got the call and I should be getting my Pro badge. There is going to be a last chance lottery for the returned tickets soon.
-
Good to hear man... I don't know how you deal with this every year without goin nuts.
-
The Host kids won't be camping out because they don't exist. That is also something positive. 8)
