Any Star Wars Surprises Under the Christmas Tree?
« on: December 25, 2003, 01:28 PM »
I had a couple of nice Star Wars related surprises from my wife this Christmas:

- 2 SA Clonetroopers

- Unleashed Boba Fett

- Imperial Shuttle

Yep, it was pretty nice; especially the Shuttle.  I already have a vintage version in great condition, but the paint scheme on this one is so much better.  It was definitely my favorite of the gifts.

Anyone else get any Star Wars stuff?  What was your favorite gift?

 :P

I didn't get anything Star Wars, but I did get a bigger TV, so that'll help when watching the OT.

Not much for me, to the dismay of my wife.  It's hard collecting in Canada but even worse when your wife cares enough to want to get you something, but can't because there's nothing new to be found.

She was gracious enough to get me the Hallmark Tie Fighter (and is going loony/boxing day shopping to see if she can score others for 1/2 price) as a follow up to last year's Death Star.

My mother in law suprisingly got me the Vader/Emperor Lego set.  I do have some mini sets but none open, so this is really just a tiny little wedge to allow the flood gates to open fully ;D  It was completely unexpected and wonderful.

To show my wife I love her just as much, I got her Space Balls.  The movie, what were you thinking? :P

No SW unfortunately.  I think this is the first year since '95 that's happened.

I got $100 Gift Card to Target and got tons of the new SW stuff, and then i got a Star Wars - Attack of the Clones - Chess Set it is pretty sweet, i like the way the Clone Trooper stands in that set, and i also got a case of 100 star cases, so my SW X-Mas was grand.

I got several figures, but the big present was the Shuttle. Getting figures was no surprise, really, but I was pretty sure that I wouldn't be seeing a Shuttle anytime soon. I was happy, indeed.

Green clonetrooper 3-pack was a nice surprise.  I didn't tell anyone Matt hooked me up with one a few weeks back and I ended up with three!!  (I had it on each Christmas list I made out).  It was nice to see them all try so hard to find me figures I was missing.  I have so many clonetroopers I actually have to buy more droids to balance out the diorama!!

Damn it's good to see you back around here JEDIRHINO!  Glad to see that you are still scoring new stuff too. ;)

It looks like most of us came out pretty good, our friends/parents/wives sure do know the right things to get us.

I was pretty surprised to get an Unleashed Boba Fett since I don't really collect those, but have to admit it is pretty cool.  I might start getting a few of those now...

I am behind on a lot of figures and some other things at the moment, but the $50 spree was fun...sorry about the absence, things are really getting hectic at work and home, I don't get much time to spend doing fun things like this...

Sorry to hear that, but I can relate! ;)

Send me a PM sometime buddy, and let me know how things are going and what stuff you need to catch up on.  Being the loyal Wookie that I am, I will help you out. :)

My wife did get me a few figures (even though she doesn't necessarily like my habit).  She happened to get one figure that I already had, and when she exchanged it she found an R1-G4 which I hadn't even seen out yet.
