Yes.  I will guess it's a TVC recard of the Walmart 3.75" Black Series version though since they tweaked the soft goods for that release versus the original VC105 version.

Makes sense to repack him if the rumors are true and a new ROTJ Palpatine is coming in the next wave after this.


While, I'm here let me just make one more comment. Repacking that Endor Han again?  Yeesh.   

They have reused that sculpt so many times (2006 VTSC, 2009 Battle Pack, 2011 Battle Pack, 2011 VC62 ROTJ card, 2011 Revenge TVC card).  We do not need this figure on a TVC card for the 4th time.  Let it die already.  That barrel chested monster needs a whole new sculpt, not just a photo-real update.

I realize there is value in rereleasing more TVC ERGs.

Just curious...how many of you had decent access to the 3.75" TBS ERG? I grabbed many of these at the original price, many more marked down at Walmart and quite a few for $3 each at Burlington. I might even have 14-20 all together. I guess what I am saying is I have no need for new ERGS to open, but I wouldn't mind one on a TVC card as I never picked up the original.

I found a bunch at Ross for $3 or $4... I have plenty.

That said I also hate the soft goods cape on them.  I think the one from the 3-Pack with the hard cape and that can hold the staff laying against its shoulder is infinitely superior.  I bought like a dozen of them.

Any PT or OT figure that was released back in the day I have more than enough of.  Lots of bargain bin opportunities.

It was real hit and miss on clearance and army builder opportunities once you hit the ST and the anthology movies though.

I got most of my Royal Guards in the 3.75" Black Series release.  It was criminal that the TVC Royal Guard was in that online exclusive case, and it should have seen wider release.  I prefer the softgoods personally, but I think that they need to be tailored just so.  Otherwise they bloom all over the place.

But the other releases in this wave just do not make sense.  Ackbar got re-released in the 3.75" Black Series and was easy to acquire.  We've gotten decent versions of Hoth Luke as both TVC and 3.75" Black Series releases. 

And that VC62 Han Solo?  It's trash!  Especially compared with other recent Han Solo releases or the new 6" Black Series Endor Han Solo.  I have a mind to try kitbashing an Endor Han Solo myself using the Carbonite Han Solo as a starting point.  I think the gunbelt is probably the most challenging part of it.

Got most of my ERGs in the rerelease too.

What I never got a lot of was the Scarriff Trooper.  Loads of Death Troopers (the irony of his TVC being so sought after was kinda funny) but never a lot of the Scarriff guy and he’s much cooler in a way.

I'll take two more ERGs. I kind of need them, and haven't pulled the trigger on the Tunghori ones, so I'm down for 2.

But yeah, I'd buy the **** out of some Scarrif troopers. I'd get a few more of the tank drivers as well. I have enough for two of my tanks (2 drivers, 1 commander per tank), but no extras.

Hoth Luke, Admiral Ackbar, Royal Guard, Endor Han Solo

Long rumored and now finally confirmed at Fan Fest thingy today.  These should be going up for pre-order later today as well (5pm ET).

I'll pass on Ackbar, ERG, and Hoth Luke, but they suckered me into wanting Endor Han with that photo-real head deco.   

(I still think they should trash that outdated Endor Han sculpt and give us a dang new one though!  )

I think so.  The only one I was able to order more than one of was the ERG which I could only get two...when I wanted half a dozen!

I was interested to hear some of the details about this wave.  Each figure now has the photo real deco, including Admiral Ackbar.  And that's a major improvement for this Han Solo figure.  It might just rescue it from being complete trash, but the body sculpt still needs improvment.  And the Star Wars team was also saying that the softgoods got some added attention.  The camo pattern on Han's trenchcoat got updated, and the Royal Guard's robes got a better fit.
