WOW!  Holy Hell!  "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" was the best genre film I've seen in ages.  Excellent.

"Attack the Block" delivers as well.

See both of these.  Or else!

The Blu-Ray sets are all old figures. No new tooling needed at all.  TFU pack is 4 (?) new figures.  5 figures for 39.99 is still only 8.00 a figure, cheaper than TVC.

I will be there on and off all of the days.  My graphic novels are coming out in January, and I will be doing some unofficial promotion work.  However, I don't know what day Hasbro's panel will be but we should all try to get together for that.

Update.  I won't be there saturday.

The Vintage Collection / New York Comic Con 2011

So Hasbro said they will be at NYCC this year promoting SW.  They have been there in the past, but have not promoted anything SW.  That being said, I wonder if they will have an exclusive?

I will be there.  In fact, unless something business realted (at the Con) comes up, I will go to the Hasbro presentation and maybe even do a live blog or something.  I've gotta use my ipad for something other than skecthing!---Mike

I did this a few years ago.  IN NYC, you go for three days, and if you don't get picked you are done.

However, I got picked on the afternoon of the last day.  I then spent 5 days on a trial that involved a car accident and injuries.  However, most of the 5 days were half days, or, sometimes only an hour, so I was probably only in the courtroom for no more than 15 hours.  The cool thing was that at the time I was teaching High School and they said I "had" to take the whole day, because they were hiring a sub anyway.  I had a lot of free time!

The case settled without us having to make any decsions.  I thought both parties were full of crap and totally abusing the system.

Y'know, I thought that B-Wing Pilot looked familiar.

And...they didn't even show any new Clone Wars figures.

Total bummer.  On the other hand, I've got my "Lost" Raiders figures coming home with a friend soon.

These look great, but am I right that they are not coming in the fall with the Blu-Rays and will be after the TPM stuff?

I must admit...I call my two boys "boyos" all the time.

Anyway, WTF?  Four new vintage figs the rest of the year?  (Ponda, Hoth Rebel, B-Wing Pilot and the EU girl)

Wow.  That flat out sucks.  Hey Hasbro, I have money and I want to spend it!!

On the other hand, the TPM figures look awesome.  Hopefully they will show up by the holidays.

I'll be at NYCC, so I'll go to the panel and see whats up.---Mike.

Seems it's 129.99.  Actually that's not bad.  Slightly over 10.00 a figure, less if you add in Crumb and the mouse droid.

I think that the stop motion prop was more upright, and the live action prop had more of a horizontal back for sitting.  This looks like the studio prop, with a longer torso.

Great set.  What's that in the soldiers hand in the package?  That range finder thing from the dish cannon?

Check out the gun in the photo on the card...the barrel is a graflex tube.

Awesome figure, but he should be pristine, not all beat up.  But awesome nontheless.
