I picked up Carl tonight thanks to the Find In Store feature on Gamestop's website. Man, if Target and TRU had inventory updates that accurate on their websites it would change my freaking life.

Toss-up between the can of pudding and the can of Cheez Whiz for Best Accessory of this wave.  ;D

I wonder though if the leader of the Wolves is the guy that Aaron was talking about with Darryl (Davidson if remember correctly?).  I can't see why they would have "named" him during that part of the discussion if he wasn't going to come back and haunt the Alexandrites.

I though that initially as well, but they seemed to strongly imply the Wolves only learned about the Safe Zone after recovering Aaron's backpack and looking through the photos. I think they said as much on TD. The exiled guy would have known about it all along.

Fresh off the season finale, Series 7 is out!!!  ;D

I picked up Michonne, Gareth, and the Mud Walker at Gamestop today over lunch. No sign of Carl, oddly.

Price has gone up to $14.99, ouch.

Still, great to have new figures and glad they got them out to capitalize on the finale hype.

I liked it a lot actually, mostly because I was dreading a lot of whining from the Alexandrites and the inevitable exile of Rick, which thankfully didn't happen. I liked that they focused almost exclusively on the characters we know.

You had to love Carol's nutbusting of Pete. (Apparently no one likes her cooking either) And I also loved the scene with Rick and Michonne, where they sort of made amends and squared up. Even the scene with Abraham and Eugene clicked well. I enjoy the show much more when everyone is one big walker-destroying family.

Glad Tara woke up, especially since her doctor visits are now a thing of the past. But can someone please explain why, after losing Beth, Noah and Tyreese so recently, WHY is Gabriel still alive!?!? Is he the post-apocalype Gilligan of the group now? Put this dbag out of his misery already!

At least it seems like Sasha finally hit the end of her rope and is ready to rein in the crazy now.

Good speeches at the end, still wish someone had just bullet-pointed all of their recent dramas to better illustrate how stupid lucky those people are to be alive: yeah, we met a guy who kept walker heads in an aquarium, then he attacked us with a tank, then we met some people who tried to rape us, then we hooked up with some cannibals, etc etc.

Glad it turned out to be the Wolves and not the Whisperers, as some had been speculating online. I'm not so sure this is _____'s gang though, I think these schmoes may be more akin to the Scavengers from the comics. Leaderless riff-raff who just move from place to place looting and killing. That was some crazy ass walker trap though!

And what can you say about freaking Morgan? Dude is a Jedi now! He is born again hard, but he cost that poor poncho dude his life by letting those two jagoffs live. Talk about awkward reunions though...from "all life is precious" to seeing Rick shoot Pete in the head, LOL.

They continue to do a good job getting me to worry about Glenn getting killed, despite his seeming untouchable status. Dude has some serious bad luck though. And why are we letting Nicholas live again? I guess they need more people to kill next season. Hopefully.

Hoping we get a glimpse of whatever Morgan has been up too as well.

I finally got around to picking up a nice MISB Cap'n Peg Leg from the Matchbox Fighting Furies line off eBay. I don't really have much interest in the rest of the line or the kooky outfits, but I have such vivid memories of this figure from my childhood.

You got a lot of value for $3.99 back in the day!

One of my Cadet Ezra/Kanan 2-packs had a Kanan with two right hands  >:(

Are there any noteable differences between this figure and the single-carded version of Kanan?

I just compared mine closely and no distint differences that I can see. My single carded version has a subtle paint application on  the eyes - a ring of blue around the darker iris, whereas in the 2-pack version it is much harder to make out. But that may just be factory sloppiness or whatever.

My luck continued after work as I found a very nice Hera 2-pack for my MOC collection at Target this evening. This allowed me to open one of the more raggedy ones I bought previously, and man, what a nice set. Hera is very slim but she has a cool little blaster and fits nicley inside the Phantom. And I love having a Stormtrooper Commander to ride point in the ITT.  8)

I finally got lucky and found the new Imperial Troop Transport @ TRU today. Also found remnants of the new Missions Series stuff at a different Target and picked up 2 more TIE Pilot/Stormtrooper 2-packs and another Cadet Ezra/Kanan 2-pack.  :)

I finally found listings on Target.com for the 19" Zeb from Jakks Pacific, as well as the Hero Series 12" version with funky helmet. (I guess the latter is part of Wave 2 and due to hit this month)

Have been on the lookout for info on these since they were rumored/teased @ Toy Fair. Now let's get the gals out! And Chopper!

I found all of the new Mission Series sets at Target over lunch today.  ;D

On the down side, nearly all of them had some level of box/bubble damage, but 2 Heras are 2 Heras, so I'm not complaining.

Now if I could just find those pesky 6" guys...

No reason they can't show off a 6" 3PO or the new Rebels Obi-Wan that was pictured months ago on that poster but never referred to since. At least, no reason related to the Ep 7 embargo.

Why is it ever since "The Fringe" Kirk Acevedo is always cast as an ahole?  :(

That was a terribly weak backstory for the other SHIELD too. Transparency really? Maybe Hunter should have reminded those dopes that if Coulson hadn't found and flooded the city that Hydra would have taken it over. Or asked them WTF they were doing when Whitehall and HYDRA were kicking ass and taking names across the globe the past few months.

Time for Fury to pop back up and collectively bitch-slap those morons.

I had a similar thought on Rick/Pete fight but it seems like he was losing at times, and I can't see him letting it get that close is all.  He should've just beat Pete solidly, IMO.  They could've shown him struggle to not kill him a number of ways.  Have Pete come at rick with a shard of the window even?  Make him out to be even more or a dillhole.  I just hated him having any real one on one advantage.  Drives me batty.  Guy beat Shane!  And that was a long time ago when Rick wasn't as hardened.

I'm curious how the finale will set up next season.  It's gonna be interesting for sure.  I figured they'd have established the new threat more by now honestly.

The problem is that once they introduce the "new threat" they're done. They're out of material. They are very close to catching up to the comic now. The next bad guy is the last one. I think they need at least another season of "Farmer Rick" type filler to let the comic forge ahead into some new territory.

And I haven't seen any casting scoop for that role so I am guessing that person will not be in the finale at least.

I saw remnants of the Bossk wave at 2 different Targets last night...both had a Chewie and TIE Pilot pegwarming. Pretty pissed that I missed them twice.

Hmmm, that is some interesting stuff there. I don't see them trawling out high quality SA figures for $7.99. Guessing these will be 5 POA, let the rioting commence.  :P

The vehicle assortment is intriguing. What can you really get for $10? A mini-rig? Even without the pack-in figures that seems a bit low. I could see the Class I Deluxe being the current scaled down ships like the Slave I, etc. Or maybe a mini-rig with 2 pack-in figures like they were doing near the end of TCW. What I'm really hoping for the Class II Vehicle is a return to properly scaled 3&3/4" compatible stuff.

Black Series 2-packs could be intriguing, but they will probably see this as a way to re-package pegwarming crud so it will end up being a bunch of Han/Greedo packs hanging around again.

I look forward to seeing this report showing up on the other sites' front pages in a week or two.  :D
