Its fine that they're making him, but I don't recall seeing that guy in the movie. Here's hoping that they dust off Hasbro's old playbook and make a generic body that they can repaint and put a different head on to have a running change to get a few different generic rebel troopers.

He's fairly prominent in the Scarif ground battle. I believe he buys it trying to get to the master switch before Chirrut does. I'd be all for multiple versions of the Rebels on Scarif. Lots of cool variations there.

Yeah I remember him and the helmet style. Kinda like Aliens without the neck protector.
I'm disappointed we'll get him but he's not going to be poseable. :-\

I think he's the second most prominent trooper behind Malshi(?)

Sefla did have a line. They were pinned down at the bunker trying to hit the switch to turn on the transmitter. He said something yo the effect of "I'll do it" then got shot right after.

Glad to see that the Scarif strike team is already getting some representation in the line. Malshi is probably the most prominent of the bunch. And I do recall seeing Sefla, too. There's one more that comes to mind, and he's played by the actor who played Yoren on Game of Thrones.

Looks like a decent figure. Hopefully custom paint apps can fix what appears to be a good sculpt, and hopefully the head fits on other Imperial Officer SA figures easily.

Actually it turns out that the lie was that these were an online exclusive to begin with. Hasbro has apparently put that to rest by confirming that this whole wave will be in retail stores. At least that is my understanding.
I just wants my Fenn Rau. :)

Sefla having a removeable helmet is a nice surprise. Glad Raddus has the same jaw/mouth they used on Ackbar.

The only place that I know for certain pre-sold this wave so far was Robot Kingdom and they blew through their stock very quickly. They did ship a number of cases way back in March I think. I believe Jayson got his for the Yak Toyguide that way. And the cases that RoboTKingdom shipped matched that case list you have Pete -

So wow - not to fear monger - but could that warning that was posted over on JTA refer to the fact that the ONLY cases manufactured for Wave 4 were shipped to outlets like Robot Kingdom and that's it - no more are coming?
I find it hard to believe that a bigger online outlets like Entertainment Earth or Big Bad Toy Store aren't going to solicit this case at all.
Knowing the way distribution has been Wave 3 and 4 will show up at Five Below around the time that The Last Jedi comes out on BluRay. ::)

I think if EE and BBTS could reliably get their hands on cases they would have them listed. These cases will sell just as well, or better than other cases they've had before.
I'm guessing Hasbro hasn't committed to a delivery date, or there are some other distribution issues that are causing those e-tailers to wait on listing the cases.

I bit the bullet and put in my pre-order for those three. Considering how I still haven't been able to track down the R1 Shoretrooper and REBELS Thrawn yet, I didn't want to deal with "last wave syndrome".
Hasbro and the retailers really screwed the pooch with inventory this time around. We're still inundated with R1 wave 1 and 2, with barely any signs of wave 3.

I just did the same. It's $9 or $10 more than it would cost in stores, but if there's a possibility of this wave being a pain in the ass I'd rather just do this and hopefully they can fill all their orders. I suppose I can always cancel it if things change.

She indicated that they will most likely be adding both a Fenn Rau individual purchase and a by the case purchase, but they haven't gotten the go-ahead from Hasbro yet. So just that uncertainty alone prompted me to go ahead and submit a pre-order for the three Rogue One figures. If I have to pay and arm and a leg for Fenn Rau on the secondary market, so be it. Hopefully EE will just put up Fenn Rau individually and we'll be able to get him that way as well.

It sounds like Hasbro hasn't yet made either of those (Fenn Rau case of 12; Wave 4 case of 12) available to EE or any etailer yet. If EE can get them, they will definitely list them.
I pre-ordered last night for the same reasons as you guys - better safe than sorry. If EE manages to get ahold of the full case and puts up a pre-order for it, I can always cancel this pre-order. If that doesn't happen for some reason, like Pete said, I'm only chasing one figure and not all four.

Has anyone managed to get anything decent from HTS recently? I've been stalking the site for months trying to get 6" figures, but with no luck. I'm guessing they aren't a good option for 3.75" figures either. For the past few years they had been a pretty reliable source for new stuff, although the window was usually pretty narrow...

Nope, I've all but stopped looking there unless I see a post from one of you guys saying they have something worthwhile in stock.
You'd think they'd have the inside track on product availability, but they never seem to have anything.

The fear mongering over this wave has gotten out of hand, IMO. I just want Fenn Rau, so ordering a case is not an option for me. I'm willing to take a wait and see attitude though.

It sounds like EE (and other online shops) were offered solid case packs for Raddus, Sefla, and Galen, which is why they pre-ordered by the figure.
Also sounds like the actual Wave 4 case mix had really, really low numbers. Not sure how many of those made it out, but obviously some did since Robot Kingdom and some other OUS shops were able to get them and sell them earlier this year.
There could still be Wave 4 cases in the distribution chain, guess we play the "wait and see" game like McMetal said.

Like the rest of you, gonna take a wait-and-see approach to Fenn Rau - there's a seller that has him for $30 on Amazon. I am sorta tempted, but $30 for a figure that should be only $6 is a tough pill to swallow.

CMSstore.com has been offering the Wave 4 1/2 case (Raddus - Sefla - Rau - Galen - Death Trooper - Shoretrooper) off and on all week. Shipping from Canada is a little pricey, but if you want to make sure you can get the Rau figure now and / or still need the Shore and Death Troopers this is one way to go.

Mine are estimated for June - not sure if that's really backordered or if they just were able to fulfill some orders with an early shipment. Sounds like EE is pretty good about only offering up product they will eventually get, so I think we'll get our stuff, just have to wait a few weeks...

So I found the Thrawn I was looking for the other day, and now Fenn Rau is the only one I'm missing.
There are a few on eBay but they're selling for $35 to $45... Do we know yet what the deal is with this guy yet or where those are coming from? Limited distribution in stores?
I'm just trying to figure out if I should be looking for a good aftermarket deal on him, or if patience is likely to pay off.

Me too. I was all ready to wait it out but the ongoing uncertainty is starting to cloud my judgment. I wish they would just say if he was coming out here or not. >:(

There is no official comment from Hasbro, but all signs are indicating that the Wave 4 mix case may end up like the 2013 Movie Heroes line - only available OUS.
So far, US accounts have only been offered the solid cases of Raddus, Galen, or Sefla.
Barring some sort of product dump at Five Below a year from now (or some other distribution change), your best bet at securing a Fenn Rau right now is going to be overseas etailer order, ebay/secondary market, or finding a nice Canadian who might be willing to help you track one down.

EE has issued a press release for these that indicates they are indeed a US exclusive and limited in production:
"It does not appear that they are available anywhere else, nor are there plans to make them available anywhere else. Let your site visitors know! These are great items and are limited in production!"

If you call them with your order number, I think they would be able to add one to your order, no problem (assuming they are not pre-sold out or something).

You can talk to them direct on their chat window and they'll add stuff. I do it all the time when an Acid Rain preorder comes up after I already made one for something else.
Also if you get their catalogue in the mail there are free shipping codes on them ALWAYS, if you order a certain amount. I forget the amount off hand but I mean I never have trouble making an order that big. It's either $99 or $79 but if you've got a group or something you were considering anyway it's worth it to me usually to throw in an extra figure or two.

If you need this wave, check out the Go! Toys and Games stores inside malls. I happened inside one today and they had tons of Galen, Raddus, and the Rebel Soldier. I saw zero Fenn Raus, however. They were priced at $10.99 a pop, which is too much for me, but for those of you who need them, it could be worth your while.

Looks like EE got the Fenn Rau cases too - noticed my pre-order is processing. Glad to finally have this one checked off my list. :)
Bad news -
Fenn is officially "pre-sold out". If you didn't get a pre-order in, you may have missed out. Once EE has filled all the pre-orders, there is a chance a few will go up (and probably a non-mint figure or two as well).

I think he's a great looking figure, but I don't like how they attached his jet pack with over-the-shoulder hooks.

Yeah, the jetpack is lame. I get that they were trying to make it an "extra weapon" type thing so that other figures could use/wear it, but it just looks clunky this way. I put my Fenn on the shelf without it...
