Still overall not a bad price you guys got for them. Heck of a lot better than $201.99 for both these new auctions.

Oh yeah, I agree.  I only ordered the case from HLJ because the indication was that BBTS wouldn't be doing the set thing again.  Otherwise it would have been a no-brainer, IMO.  A higher premium, but nothing to unload made it very appealing.

A little torn right now, especially if BBTS does make sets available despite earlier comments.  I would like to remain complete with the loose figures, but my loathing of Ewoks tempers that quite a bit.  The Han is neat enough and would look cool posed in front of the carbonite block.  Who knows, maybe I'll be lucky with this box, I'm due.   ;)

Alrighty folks, as per our previous 3 Kubrick threads, this one's grown to monumental proportions, so we're going to cut it off and move on to part 5 now, so click the following link, and enjoy!

That's what I remember, I believe I got a set of 8 plus Indy for the price of what Indy was going for at the time which is why I was so giddy

Pretty sure it was $119 for all 9 of them from the last Series, Scott, 'cause after you pointed out that deal you found at BBTS, I went over and jumped on it too!  I'll see if I can dig up the old post on it.

I'm not an impatient nutjob like a few of you, so I'm just going to play this Series by ear, and see what happens in the way of good deals.  This stuff always winds up dropping off immensely after the first several weeks or so.  I can wait a little while to save some moolah, I suppose...

As for that Carbonite block, I've speculated all along that it would probably just barely fit into one of the boxes diagonally, as Dale just mentioned.  Of course, any intelligent person would then therefore be able to deduce that if you've got any number of Carbonite Han boxes to choose from, you should easily be able to identify which ones have the block, and which ones have the Han, just by lightly squeezing them on two opposite edges...

Though I think Logray's pretty good looking (in a purely pleutonic platonic kinda way  :P), like most folks I'm not a huge Ewok fan, so I would've preferred seeing the Chase figure being a "Scoundrel" Lando (from the end of ESB) or a Tie Pilot instead of yet another Ewok, but oh well.

Platonic ::)

I know, I know, spelling flames are weak, but I cannot abide by that one.  Pleutonic does not even exist.  Ridiculous.  [/crusty English teacher]

Yeah, yeah, yeah...  My first damned spelling error of the year.  Not surprising that the old man called me on it.   :P  Thanks for the spelling lesson B!   :-*

EDIT:  There.  Better?   ;)

Oh, I see.  So that one was actually intentional, huh?   ;)

Anyway, back to the Kubricks, you bunch of yappedy damned chitchatters!

Reminder for a senile old man again please, when is the TRU boxset due out?  Was it December?
