The Palisades website has pictures of wave 7 up. While I'm disappointed that they're doing another Kermit figure, I am glad to see Robin and Johnny Fiama coming up. The 4th fig in that series is Beauregard the janitor.

I know there's alot of copyright red tape and whatnot, but I would love to see Sesame Street muppets eventually make their way into this line-up.

I received my BFA In Graphic Design and am currently employed as a Senior GD, so I guess that's a yes for me. Alot of my friends that I graduated with though (including my wife) received their BFA's and diplomas in illustration or painting and they now employed in "traditional" jobs like lab work, retail, desk jobs.

found them at one of my local Targets about 2 weeks ago and bought only Pepe. I'll be passing on Gonzo (have the first one) and Janice (something about her face just doesn't look right). Muppet Newsman will be my nex purchase.  I've been checking the other 2 in the area periodically, but they still do not have them.

I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but I can't wait for the next series w/Statler and Waldorf and Clifford. I'll pass on Police Fozzie though.

Well, found wave 5 yesterday at one of my local Targets. Muppet Newsman and Pepe are quite cool looking. Is it just me, or does Janice look a bit different than how she did on the Muppet Show?

Red Sox magic number for the wild card is down to three! David Ortiz (Thank you Minnesota!) and Todd Walker came through HUGE! The Sox were down 5-2 with 2 out in the 9th and tied it. Ortiz won it in the 10th with a lead-off Homer. Bring on Chokeland!

When I was about 8 years old I made my own Luke Skywalker costume. It consisted of a white, long-sleeved thermal shirt, tan pajama bottoms, those nasty green rubber boots w/yellow laces that everyone had as a kid, and a wiffleball bat with electrical tape around the handle as a light saber.   ;D

I was sooooo d*mn proud of that costume.  ;D If I ever come across any pictures, I'll post them.

Don't be surprised if Colorado goes out and picks up a veteran goalie (Burke? Khabibulin?).

As for my team of choice, The Bruins look like they're ready to stumble their way to another pathetically medicore season, finish 8th in the conference and lose to NJ or Ottawa in 5 games. Other than Thorton and Samsonov, they are devoid of talent and are run by the Three Stooges of NHL management (O'Connell, Sinden, and Jacobs) who refuse to invest dime one into the team. Once again they will have one of the lowest payrolls in the league but will finish in the top 5 again in highest ticket prices and profitability. :'(

Was at the Red Sox game last night and got to see the magic number shrink to 4 games! There was a little bit of nailbiting going on when the seven-headed beast known as the bullpen came in and nearly blew another one. BH Kim was the last person I thought would come in and nail it down. He completely dominated the O's in the 9th.

As for the offense, what can you say. They have one of the best offenses EVER. They're going to have 7 guys hit over 20 HR, 9 guys hit at least 10 and have an outside shot of 5 guys driving in 100 runs. They also set the ML record for extra-base hits in a season and they still have 6 games to play.

Even with the tough loss yesterday, the Sox looked awesome this weekend. Here's hoping they can take care of business over the next 3 weeks and keep the heat on the Yanks.

My boy is 14 months old and his is into The Wiggles hard core. They've been pretty big here in the states for at least the past 2 years, if not a little longer. My brother managed to get tickets for the last show they had here in Boston and he had people he works with offering him 2 and 3 times face value for them!

It seems the Pats got rid of Milloy for a couple of reasons. The first & most important is money. He was due to make around $4.4M this season with a cap hit even higher. Both the cap hit & salary would have jumped about $1M next season. The other reason, which ties to salary is his performance last year. He had 0 Sacks, 0 Ints, 0 Forced Fumbles, 0 Recovered Fumbles and recorded a career low tackles last year. The Pats wanted to keep him, but not at $4.4M. They wanted him to restructure down to $3M and he refused to come down at all.

It won't take long for Belicheck to see if he made the right decision though. It sure will be weird seeing him in Buffalo Blue come Sunday.
