So I checked the MR page for this big sale going on, and all that I saw on sale were most of the .45 scaled sabers were $10 off.  Not a bad deal on some cool prop replicas, but I thought there would've been price cuts across the board for a one day sale.

If any of you have a verizon wireless phone, did yu notice that the time didn't change on it until sometime this afternoon?

A friend of mine noticed it and askd me if my phone was off as well.  Good thing I don't use the alarm clock on it.

With the NFC North in the shambles that it's in.  The Packers could make the playoffs, but I doubt it.  Shame too because this will most likely be Favre's last season and it would've been nicer for him to end on a higher point.

I am liking how the Giants are doing this year.  I expected a winning record from them, but I didn't expect much more with Eli only being in his first full season as starting QB.  They've had some exciting 4th quarters, where they normally didn't do too well in the past.  Hopefully, they can keep it up.

I finished the second book last week and thought it was pretty good.

TBD, I understand where you are coming from about a bunch of insects having this kind of influence over the new Galactic Alliance, but I don't think they would be as powerful if they didn't have three Jedi controlling them.  I think that's what Denning is trying to convey with Luke's re-thinking of the new Jedi philosophy that they came up with at the end of the NJO series.

The only part of the story I find annoying is that the whole Jaina/Zekk joiner plot.  I can understand a side effect of the battle-meld they all shared on the Myrkyr mission, but they spent a long time in the NJO making Jaina such a strong-willed character....I thought she'd be able to resist becoming a joiner.

My nephew's also 4 and he loves Star Wars.  I was talking to him on the phone Saturday, and he said to me, "I don't think I can come over tomorrow Uncle Matt."  I kind of knew that since he lives in NY and I'm currently stationed in Wyoming/Colorado.

I told him it was too bad because I had all my Star Wars toys out and we could play all day with them, he immediately called for his dad saying, "Dad!  Uncle Matt has Star Wars toys and we could play ALL DAY!"

He's probably still bugging his parents to come for a visit.   

I don't know....I think the "I caught teh gay from RS" and the "JD scuks" are pure comedy gold.

It is a fun game....although sometimes the camera angles are a bit wierd.  Still, a lot of fun to play.

Its funny how I sometimes really debate gettting grocerys or Star Wars toys!!!

Meh....food can be overrated.
